Guardians forced to fight humans — the very ones we’ve sworn to protect.
Let’s say these new enemies traveled from a different reality to kill our Guardian. They arrive through a portal into our world, armed to the teeth — decorated with guns, armor, ghost shells, and Guardian gear.
These enemies have already killed their Traveler and harvested all of its power, making them stronger than anything we’ve faced.
Picture this:
An unknown portal opens in the sky, visible to everyone in the Tower. A new villain steps through and launches an attack, damaging our Traveler. The Traveler takes a hit and is seen slowly falling toward the city.
The villain flies above the Tower, eyes filled with hatred, and points down, shouting:
“YOU.”
At that moment, more enemies portal into the Tower, taking out Guardians and civilians alike.
In the chaos, a shockwave hits — the Traveler crashes — and our Guardian is struck, sensing that our Light may be fading.
You turn to your left and see Zavala’s Ghost get shot out of the sky.
Our Guardian runs — launches from the Tower — and doesn't look back.
