@thomasbrushdev Might be worth looking at building to Linux with Vulkan instead of OpenGL (a setting under PlayerSettings in Unity). Vastly improved the frame rate (and fixed decal issues) for Shaolin Bao on Steam Deck.

Major DUH moment. So, for a couple months I've been trying to build a Steam deck version of Twisted Tower that runs at a stable 40-60. I've been banging my head against a wall. You wanna know what I was doing wrong? I was building a Windows version. This apparently uses some kind of wrapper or something. Causes major hitching and frame drops. I built a Linux version and it runs at 60 - 90 fps! WHEW. That said, I do have to disable Realtime Shadows. I think that's just going to be the way it is for an indie game like this one

Modelling blockouts can be really easy when using Fspy and its blender import addon. Here's a quick example using photo ref. You can easily do it with concept art too (if the perspective is easily ascertained).
