Crossy road made $10M+ in 3 months without charging upfront With only IAP and ads Let that sink in 🤯 building a game like this was extremely complicated 5 years ago → 3D/2D models → Animation → Map design → Game loop and logic Now with Rork max you can solve all of that in 1 prompt With 1 prompt you get: →3D models →The animations →The map →and the game logic I made my own version of crossy road where you play as a lizard And all of this was added by Rork in 3 prompts Everyone is looking at apps But now it’s the time to build a million dollar video game

@nicholascalez I’ve been battling reviews back and fourth with Apple for 15 plus days. Also double check you re submitted

@jakecastilloooo Do you think it would be stupid to purely do organic, and skip influencer marketing?
Or start organic and save some money then when ur ready try it out?
English

Influencer attribution is easy right up until it isn't.
When you’re scaling a small app, downloads spike 30 minutes after a creator posts and you know exactly what's working.
At 30,000 downloads a day, the spikes disappear.
Creators still drive installs, just not enough to move a chart that big
At that point, you’re mostly relying on informed intuition for what’s working
Plan for that transition before you hit it.

Remove all app revenue notifications.
for the love of your sanity, disable every single one.
you're training yourself to check your phone every 10 minutes and build anxiety for no reason.
LAW OF DETACHMENT.
do the work.
post the content.
launch the ad.
and then close the app and please go live your fuck*ing life...
let the subscribers roll in.
LET GO….

You can’t sit at your computer all day and expect to become the best version of yourself
Your startup matters, but so does your energy, your health, your physical presence, your relationships, your charisma, and your ability to actually communicate with people
Being successful is not just about making money
If you get rich while neglecting every other part of your life, you’ll eventually realize the money didn’t make you respected, interesting, healthy, or fulfilled
Build the company
But build yourself too

@ChadAppDev Health is huge. This year I’ve quit drinking entirely was causing slight health issues. And I don’t wana go back. But even being very health conscious and building a business a lot of stress. Find ways to relax

those posts generated 2.2M views and $8,139 in all time revenue for my image gen app.
ORGANICALLY.
yes grateful, but i'm done with this format…
it got me this far, but if i want to 30x the rev, i need to 30x the views.
sometimes you have to let go of whats working to find something bigger.
the search for the next format begins 🔎

My app made $200 in one day.
And $800/m in 22 days.
These are some of the naughtiest app strategies to get insane growth.
1. Apple Store Ad fraud
When you run apple store ads you can show your standard app as is on the app store. So it shows your app name, your screenshots etc.
HOWEVER - you can also do a "custom ad". With this, you can change the title and the images.
• Your ad title can be the name of another app.
• Your images can be a replica of the app you're copying.
This is VERY spicy and if you're caught will absolutely be whipped. BUT i think apple will be lenient as it's part of the ad ecosystem and you're paying apple after all.
I've seen the biggest players on the app store doing this.
2. Fake Friends
This is a diabolical one.
If your app had any kind of social feature: users can see each others activity whatever it is (like prayer lock, you can see your friends streaks or something)
You COULD during onboarding, SUGGEST, that the user has 3 friends already using the app. AND that MAYBE if they paid, they'd find out WHO.
3. "Note From The Team" Paywall
Possibly the most under utilised strategy. I had this in the first few days of my app and it did well. This can work REALLY well for trials especially.
Simply a paywall which has a "note" - Hello thanks for downloading, we're seeing huge demand for app so we're asking everyone to start a subscription. blah blah love you thanks bye.
Apple haven't caught onto this one just yet. Not too rouge, but may be patched soon.
4. Make the user Commit / Sign before paying.
Apps like Quittr (quitting pron) made the user sign their signature during onboarding.
Obviously this creates a commitment in the users mind - I'm gonna commit & go on this journey, then BAM hit em with the hard paywall. What's a few dollars against their dream of achieving something?
I doubt this will be patched by apple, it's fun and creative.
5. No notifications.
This one's slightly naughty, more neutral: not bad not good.
The aim here: renewalmaxxing.
You've seen the screenshots, users that have renewed for 10 weeks in a row but haven't ever used the app. This is because they've forgotten about it.
$10k/m is just 100 forgetful americans that don't check their bank statements.
This is not advice. Use at your own discretion.
