Insomniac Games has a stand alone Venom game in development, likely for PS6 (PS5 cross-gen?). It will star Eddie Brock and feature Carnage as a main Villain. It will be the next game after Wolverine and has been in development for some time now. May be planned as a PS6 launch title.

Seeing a lot of discussion about this, Gaming is an interactive medium. When you remove the interaction part, you are missing out on a critical part of the experience.
It's OK to enjoy stories by watching vids but I really think you need to play to appreciate games fully imo.

Sony has basically survived crashing & burning this gen off the backs of content creators and media outlets that have defended them every step of the way & given them minimal criticism to hide their obvious bias....
