@ericwolf3784 @ckparrot People really have to stop thinking that BPA is some objective truth or an NFL-wide consensus. At any point in the draft, who's the BPA can differ a lot between different teams' boards based on their valuations, scheme etc.

@ckparrot Im inferring based on his draft picks. Went for a hogmolly over 2 more qualified prospects because it fits their vision.

Things we learn about GM Jon-Eric Sullivan: - Planet theory is in the room - Maturity issues can be forgiven - The analytics take is right there with the personnel dept. take and coaches take - Versatility matters - Age matters - Traits, not conference - Testing is validation

@dalesandroa13 @flasportsbuzz No, he didn't. He said he would be part of the "hiring process", not the interviews or the decision-making. People just jumped to conclusions based on that.

All the media innocently misinterpreted McDaniel's response yesterday regarding his level of involvement in GM search. Dolphins simply getting information from McDaniel about candidates, as they would with anyone who knows the candidates. He's not making the candidate list or the decision obviously.
Barry Jackson@flasportsbuzz

Per source, the six people who will be involved in Zoom interviews with 6 external GM candidates, from the Dolphins side, will be Stephen Ross, Tom Garfinkel, Troy Aikman, Dan Marino, Brandon Shore and Danny Sillman (Ross' son-in-law and the CEO of Ross-owned Relevant, a sports and entertainment firm that creates and operates global events). Mike McDaniel will NOT participate in the interviews.

@ckparrot With how often Phillips is injured there is no guarantee to get a compensatory pick for him at all.

Late-3rd rounder (not early-3rd) vs. what Miami could’ve picked up in compensatory system (late-3rd or late-4th) by allowing Jaelan Phillips to walk via FA, agreeing to pay a portion of Phillips’s salary… This turned out to be a motivated sale. That itself is a road sign.

CB Isaiah Johnson and S Jordan Colbert went unclaimed on waivers, so they are both eligible to be added to the Dolphins' practice squad. Miami currently has one open spot on the PS.

@OmarKelly Don't you think that will go to Isaiah Johnson if he clears waivers

So when you put TE Greg Dulcich, RB Jeff Wilson and S Jordan Colbert with the 12 players previously signed to the practice squad the Dolphins have one more available spot. Chris Grier said he was going to add a young RB.

@dieggsc52 @_Osei531 @BeetNeverDa2nd @Asensii20 I did not claim that there are no sensors in the ball, neither that there was no double touch. Only that UEFA confirmed to journalists that it was just decided based on replays.

@CFuelFuel @_Osei531 @BeetNeverDa2nd @Asensii20 If there are no sensors then how are they doing automated offsides? Are they are doing it in a different way which idk? Because they do track each touch on the ball which is how they determine offsides. When was the ball struck in relation to the players' positions

@TaReyDill32 Ingold is listed correctly, but not in the FB position. The F-tight end is a more versatile role than a pure FB. Also, Jonnu listed as second here does not mean he is the FB back-up. He clearly will have a different role than Ingold.

@TaReyDill32 F means F-role tight end, which is a very flexible role with a lot of movement, sometimes resulting in fullback-like play, sometimes in slot receiver like play etc. Ingold is in this group because he plays a hybrid FB/TE role in the Dolphins scheme.

@jaimedia_ @OmarKelly F in the depth chart is not fullback. It's an F-role tight end that is moved around in the formation and situationally works as a fullback, slot receiver or even wide receiver (which is different from a Y-role tight end that is usually positioned in-line).

@OmarKelly FB Jonu Smith👀, I’m intrigued. To your point of the CB regression.. I’m a believer that Kendall is better than X is rn in 2024. Depth wise, We must see how Neal and Duck do and of course while monitoring Kader’s improvements or lack thereof. We cut Nik for a reason right Lets C

Very interesting placement for Jonnu Smith, whose PLAY package is quite intriguing. Also, most Dolphins fans want to fight me about my stance that the CB position regressed. Take a look for yourself.

@Dolfins1 @OmarKelly This is not possible. After being waived/injured and not being claimed, he reverted to the Dolphin's season-ending IR. They cannot sign him to the PS right now.

@Joe95326378 @MiamiDolphins @PaycorInc He IS a Dolphin. But he is on IR and cannot come back to the roster this season, unless he is released with an injury settlement and is then re-signed later in the season (which probably won't happen).

@BYUpros False. He was waived/injured. After not being claimed by other teams, he automatically landed on Miami's season-ending IR and now cannot be signed to the PS. They can only get him back after agreeing on an injury settlement, but even then he is not allowed back for several weeks.
