Full November SNAP benefits are now on EBT cards — but after a week of federal uncertainty, many families are still feeling the whiplash. We’re grateful to @GovNedLamont and the State of CT for stepping up to ensure households received the full benefits they rely on. 💚

I joined Connecticut Attorney General William Tong to announce a lawsuit filed by 25 states and the District of Columbia over the Trump administration‘s refusal to release almost $6 billion in emergency funds so that families won’t see their SNAP benefits interrupted starting November 1st. I am grateful to live in a state that fights for our residents at every level.

Hunger isn’t inevitable. It’s a policy choice. There is no reason for November SNAP benefits to be delayed. @USDA and @SecRollins have the authority to act and prevent hunger. The time to use it is now.
