She gets loud and says, “That’s it. I’m calling your manager right now and telling them you stole my twenty dollars!” I just looked at her and replied, “Go ahead. Call him. It’s my dad. I’ll wait right here while you do.” The silence after that was loud. She stood there scowling at me, turning red. After a few awkward seconds she reaches into her pocket, pulls out the other twenty, and shoves it at me without saying a word. I took the money, handed her the full order, and said, “Don’t call back for delivery again.” She slammed the door so hard the frame shook.
