@mndrix Yeah, I was basing that on 120 miles a day / 2 hr for 200 days a year. Assuming that’s about what your son-in-law drives. Was averaging 50,000 with my model S 6 years ago. I’m probably closer to 25,000 now. 80%+ on FSD.

Silver $99 Long Thesis... Silver is the most conductive metal on the planet earth. There is no other metal that moves electricity more efficiently than silver. 1. Deficit The world has run a silver deficit for the past 5 years. Meaning that mined new silver (800 million ounces) plus recycled silver (200 million ounces) has not been able to keep pace with the demand by silver users for 1.15 - 1.2 Billion ounces of annual silver needed. This delta has been offset by previously mined above ground silver vaults, however it is estimated that only 500 million ounces are liquid and available to cover shortfalls. 2. Paper Silver The yearly deficit becomes horrifying if you are holding paper silver. It is estimated that there exists between 300-400 ounces of paper silver to every 1 ounce of physical silver. Over 16.5 Trillion ounces of PAPER SILVER exist on mostly unaudited ledgers. 3. Mined Silver vs Paper Silver At 300+ to 1 paper silver to physical silver there are over 16.5 Trillion ounces of paper silver chasing the 55 Billion ounces of physical silver that have ever been mined. 4. Yearly Mined Silver vs. Yearly Demand Only 800 million new ounces of silver are mined every year, and 200 Million ounces of silver are recyled for new use. Of this 680 Million ounces are needed for industrial use, 200 Million are used for jewelry, 200 Million for physical investment, and 100m for photography, silverware and other uses for a total yearly demand estimated to be 1.15 - 1.2 Billion ounces. There is not enough yearly mined + recycled silver to cover current yearly demand. 5. Vault silver It is estimated there may be 2 - 3 Billion ounces in above ground silver available for deficits. However only 500 Million ounces of that silver are considered liquid that are publicly audited and can be moved timely. 6. Bleed The world is using 100% of its yearly mined and recycled silver and bleeding another ~100+ Million ounces of silver per year from global stockpiles that are estimated to contain only 500 Million ounces of liquid silver, and possibly 2 Billion additional ounces that are not proven or audited. 7. Long Thesis Since silver is the most conductive metal on the planet earth the use of silver will continue to increase as energy generation, energy supply and energy movement continue to increase. Historically, manipulation of the paper silver market could exist untied to the physical silver market. However, with the growth of AI and the massive demand on power generation, paper silver will be forced to come into alignment with the risk of providing physical silver in the near future. This would cause the price of silver to increase dramatically. 8. Armageddon short squeeze thesis If all or a significant percentage of 16.5 trillion ounces of paper silver are ever forced to unwind or pair with physical silver quickly there are only 500 Million ounces of liquid silver and possibly 2 to 3 billion ounces of unaudited reserves to cover a 16 trillion ounce fictional construct that historically has been massively manipulated with low risk of having to tie out trillions of ounces of fictional paper silver with the billions of ounces of physical silver.
