@SECPaulSAtkins I’ll believe it when we start seeing real penalties, CAT data, and forced settlement. Oh, and put that slimeball Ken Griffin in prison.
The Division of Enforcement has undergone a major course correction, prioritizing investor protection and market integrity.
I am pleased to have David rejoin the SEC at this critical time, as we focus on the types of misconduct that inflict the greatest harm to investors.
ATLANTA – Following a six-day trial, a federal jury convicted Patrick Shackelford, a former federal correctional officer, for accepting bribes and conspiring with inmates to smuggle narcotics and other contraband into the U.S. Penitentiary Atlanta (“USP-Atlanta”) using an elaborate scheme through which visitors introduced contraband into the prison through a secret hole in the visitation area. Shackelford was immediately taken into federal custody upon entry of the jury’s verdict on April 2. justice.gov/usao-ndga/pr/f…@NDGAnews@FBIAtlanta
FBI was proud to join our partners announcing a major breakthrough in a decades old cold case out of Texas… the infamous “Texas Killing Fields” case, where the bodies of dozens of murdered women and young girls were discovered in a League City field near Houston from the 1970’s through 1990’s.
James Dolphs Elmore Jr. is in custody and has been indicted for his alleged role in the deaths of 16-year-old Laura Miller and 30-year-old Audrey Cook, two of the women whose bodies were found in 1986. Thank you to @FBIHouston, partners in Galveston, and Texas law enforcement for the great work.
This is the second major decades-old cold case the FBI has helped solve in a matter of weeks - as our investigative teams and in-house Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG) team continue to do outstanding work with partners 24/7.
These women and their families deserve justice. This FBI will never stop working to deliver it. More to come.
@TMobileHelp I called and spoke to a supervisor in Metronet tech support. What a clown. I'm done, I won't do business with you, and I promise that I will tell everyone I know how you allow people to do illegal things from the Metronet network, you don't care. Wow. I can't believe it.
@MetronetF@TMobile@TMobileHelp is it your policy to hang up on customers when they call to report illegal activities another customer is involved in? That's what happened to me. I'm canceling my service once I get a replacement. His name was "Bill". Which I'm sure was a lie.
@ItsBoofingTime This is not the experience you should have when calling to report something serious, and I want to help address this quickly. Please DM me so I can securely collect some details from you and turn your experience around.
^MikeA
@TMobileHelp I just tried to DM this account and got an automated response. I'm not jumping through all sorts of hoops. I'll find out who the guy was and rain down fire he's never experienced before. Anyone that treats a customer the way he treated me shouldn't even be employed.
I am disgusted and refuse to do business with companies that treat cyber threats with such disdain. I hope you fire the guy who hung up on me, and who wouldn't give me his name.
@USMobile You’ve literally never ‘hit the mark’. I ported out because of the continued failures in switching networks. And un-pausing my kid’s line shouldn’t require chatting with someone for 20 minutes. So fix that stuff. But I’m done.
@ItsBoofingTime It sounds like we didn't quite hit the mark for you. With three networks at your fingertips, the fix is usually just a quick Teleport away to find the one that actually dominates your specific area. Just write us at help@usmobile.com and we'll get things right back on track.
NEW: Seattle woman sentenced to 20 years for fatally shooting rideshare driver during carjacking
Ne’lani Allen-Bailey, who was 18 at the time, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder with a firearm in the August 8, 2023, killing of 52-year-old rideshare driver Amare Geda in Seattle.
Bailey then took his car and used it for two days, joyriding, visiting family, smoking marijuana, and getting her hair done while discarding his belongings.
On Friday, King County Superior Court Judge Haydee Vargas sentenced Allen-Bailey to 20 years in prison followed by three years of community custody, mandatory mental health and substance abuse treatment, and restitution to Geda’s family.
Geda’s daughter shared that she too wants to be an Uber driver so one day she could be harmed and see her father again.
@IDIDNTDOIT2021@povcops HIS food. There is one person eating. Singular. HE was eating HIS food. Go back to grade school and learn the English language, you fucking twat.
Your comment proves that our society is being destroyed by the woke mind virus. Freak.
@povcops yeah, these cops are just harassing this person just trying to eat their food, but they’re probably assuming he’s doing drug dealers or something waiting to meet with someone..

@wick_worldwide@AdamAnd10637661@Thefactsdude Just to educate you just a little bit-laws can actually be different in other states. Just because you never experienced Texas laws doesn't mean they don't exist. You are literally making us all dumber by reading your comments.
NEW: Hurst police release full bodycam after viral edited video sparks excessive force claims in school zone stop
Hurst officers pulled over Taneisha Thompson for speeding 40 mph in a 25 mph school zone.
She refused the ticket, threw it out the window and tried to roll up her window.
Bodycam shows Cpl. Morgan opening the door, grabbing her arm and pulling her from the SUV after she refused commands to exit.
Additional officers arrived and took her to the ground.
She claims a black eye, busted lip needing stitches and other injuries; her attorney alleges racial profiling after her edited viral video was released.
Thompson was charged with resisting arrest, speeding and littering.
@Thefactsdude I'm guessing that by the time she tossed the ticket, she'd already pushed this officer beyond what most people would tolerate. I wish I could see the entire stop. I'd bet my next paycheck that she was loud mouthed, snotty, racist, and entitled.
@wick_worldwide@AdamAnd10637661@Thefactsdude You have blinders on and can’t see that this woman was clearly in the wrong, broke multiple laws, and is racist to top it all off. You just want to see her as a victim instead of seeing that she simply is a shit. That’s it. She acted like a toddler in an adult world.
@AdamAnd10637661@Thefactsdude Yes but back to my main point there is no reason to step out the car 🤣 can yall not see the stupidity of the ego shit with that? No way yall gonna sit here and act like you want this kinda policing for your OWNSELVES. Its like being shot over an air freshener
@wick_worldwide@_statuscode_404@Thefactsdude Keep commenting, it’s fun to watch you show your ignorance more and more each time you touch your keyboard. Some people are just so racist that they can’t accept that a black person can actually be wron, and it’s not a ‘testosterone’ filled cop. LOL.
@_statuscode_404@Thefactsdude Bottom line is its a man getting into an ego battle with a woman, are we this weak, is testosterone that low? Ive been a cop, a fireman, a bouncer. People are assholes, you cannot let your ego get the best of you, there is no reason to escalate anything over littering!
