Molly moved in today with her 11 month old son 😊 this was the message she sent us "I can't believe I've actually got my own home now, and I don't have to worry I'm gonna get thrown out any minute. He's gonna have his own room. Thank you so much, it doesn't feel real"

We manage a few houses a year with training on the job for unemployed young people in construction skills, but we'd love to do more!

@leannetritton @SherwoodProjec1 We have excellent nonprofit housing providers in England doing this @Giroscope_Hull @CanopyCan @LATCHLeeds @CCampus87 @GroundworkGM and council schemes like @NUEKent what we need is investment and better powers to allow this to happen more, happen faster and happen everywhere.

Yes, it will cost bucketfuls to fix the properties but surely a new government can release that investment and bring these houses back into use? @emptyhomes #DontWasteBuildings
