Same goes with Twitter content I see people all the time flexing "omg i helped my client hit xxx million views" ...yea but how many ACTUALLY remember you after your viral post? How many care about your niche? How many vibe with your offer? How many convert to clients? Content should be a funnel. Every single post should attract, nurture, or convert. The worst possible thing you could do (especially as a smaller account) is aim for virality. Focus on building a small, pinpointed audience first. Virality comes later.

Stop asking for a RT on your giveaway. People want to protect their profile. And rightly so. When you RT you share your traffic. Sure, engagement rolls in. But you are losing money by directing to another account. Asking for a like + comment wins every time.
