A rare non-Arsenal post from me, but this is so fucking depressing. I'm Jewish, have lived in London my whole life, and have never, ever seen this amount of brazen attacks on synagogues, communities, and people before. It's terrifying, but largely just shrugged off.

An ultra Orthodox man doing his job as a building inspector was working in Slough when he was physically attacked by a total stranger screaming ‘baby killer’ and ‘dirty mother f*cking Jew’ at him. A friend of his has sent me this video telling me the man is now ‘afraid to leave his area, he is terrified for his life.’ As the most visibly obvious Jews, the community has extra security where they live but are increasingly frightened to leave their neighbourhood. ‘It is devastating that Jewish people can’t go anywhere without a high risk of being attacked,’ I was told. 🚔 @ThamesVP are investigating and seeking witnesses to the attack on Monday afternoon in Slough. Curtis Jones is one of the most under-appreciated midfielders in Europe, full stop. All of his advanced progressive, pass accuracy, and on-ball value metrics like VAEP have been on-par with whoever pops into your head when you think of 'best current midfield maestro'. He's not without his limitations; but given the style of football Arne Slot wants to play, the mediocre performance of the main midfield two this season, Slot's over-reliance on them over the past two seasons from a minutes perspective, and just simply Jones' currently level... he should already be playing the minutes he wants/deserves. Pair him with an all-action, bull-in-a-china-shop 8 and you could sort the midfield for extremely cheap.

@BadFlanners @mulletrider Genuinely think we need both (and that’s an indictment on the squad building). When Rice is out there is no one who can even somewhat replicate what he does. And as you say, the need for a passer is glaring too.

@mulletrider Their form is comically bad - and I truly have enjoyed laughing at it - but the underlying aren’t anywhere near as awful. Theres some variance which is bound to swing. Plus Spurs awful, Forest play midweek, and Sunderland will be on the beach. (But yes delighted if they miss!)
