I actually think there's something different at work here, also baked into the way Democrats think about endorsements: the party and its apparatchiks are actually obsessed with *celebrities* and really, deeply believe in them as a source of power.

I think "cancellation" applies if you suggest even far-leftists shouldn't campaign with Piker. It's not as if I think mainstream Dems should do so.
