An American organization invited me to give a keynote on overcoming addiction, homelessness, and bridging harm reduction with recovery. I told them I’d gladly help because the U.S. is miles behind on many challenges. However I’m not stepping foot in the USA, not right now, and even with a waiver you can't guarantee my safety. They wanted me in person, so I declined and thought that was the end of it. Guess what? They called back. The board approved it, so I’ll now be doing it virtually. @camus_absurd 5 countries of the G7 with high speed rail have it due to the speed infrastructure and opportunities provided by WW2 supply lines and in some cases, their relatively small size. The US has very limited high speed rail because enormous countries can’t afford it.
