AI-assisted coding turned me from someone who designs systems into someone who also builds them 🛠️ I’ve spent 10 years working between business and IT, currently as an IT architect: translating messy business problems into requirements, systems, trade-offs, and workable solutions. I’ve always been close to technology, and I’ve done low-code development, but I never really saw myself as a developer. Now, when I run into a problem, I don’t just look for an app. I try to build one. Daily habits → app. Home workouts → app. Finance tracking → app. Small workflow problem → product idea. The interesting part is that my background helps more than I expected. Product thinking helps me shape the problem. Requirements engineering helps me make it concrete. System thinking helps me avoid building random features. Architecture helps me see how the pieces fit together. So this is now a serious hobby that got slightly out of hand. I get even less sleep than before 😅 I’m building web and mobile apps alongside a demanding office job, two young kids, and limited spare time. I’ll use this account to share what I build, what I learn, where I get stuck, and whether any of these small bets can become real products.

Most people already have a work system. It’s just implicit. Messy. Mostly in their head. Recently I built mine into Workframe: a personal operating system for how I work. workframe.rvdobuilds.com Thinking of turning it into a tool that generates one for you. Useful or overkill?

iOS app live!!!!!! 🎊🎊🎊🎊 First time adding subscriptions I was afraid they'd push back, but I got lucky I guess! Then it honestly took me more than 1 hour to figure out how to do offer codes...

@TheOvermanEthos My initial thought was: 100% agree But on second thought: with AI, execution is available at the tip of your fingers. Having the best ideas is now more important. (of course only if you follow through with it, that remains true)

AI is so good now. Just created illustration for @refindie_com Burning money with ads? Or paying only for successful sales?

@sherifgjini Yes. And I would add: a clear vision on what their niche is, and a standard PMF validation process

Hot take: Most founders do not need more motivation. They need a repeatable system for building and distribution.

@thaphantom100 Yeah me too. But aside from insights, keeping myself accountable is already a value this system brings me 👌

@RoyInProgress You cannot improve what you do not track. This should produce some valuable insights over time. I hope a pattern emerges sooner than later for you to exploit.

Day 11 of building to €10k/month 🚀 Today’s lesson: If I want to grow on X, “just post and reply more” is too vague. So I turned it into a real system: a reply plan by time block a post plan by time block a daily log to track execution Also simplified my X banner and rewrote my About page. Less random effort. More deliberate reps. Now the job is simple: show up, execute, review, repeat.

Currently working from a co-working space in Amsterdam. Visited Framer office and stole Dr Pepper yesterday. Talking at a Framer AI & Creativity night tonight at Soho House. Life is pretty good.

@melobreaks Mainly being consistent on X, and sticking to my (intermittent fasting) diet. I’d also add working out, getting my steps in, sleeping enough and daily reading - but those are all very challenging rn (with little kids) How about you?

bad habits: • i should do this • here's why it's good habits that stick: • here's what i was struggling with • this is what i changed • here's what happened after 30 days • this is how it felt different • here's what i can do now that i couldn't before what habit are you trying to build right now?

Advice for small X creators especially for new users !!! > Your first 100 posts are practice. > Your next 100 are improvement. > Your next 100 are where things start clicking. Most people quit before that.

Lost access to my X account for a bit after a password change triggered 2FA. Not ideal during a build-in-public streak. Lesson learned: distribution is an asset, account access is infrastructure. Save your backup codes. Own the vault.

AI-assisted coding makes building faster. But it also exposes weak product thinking faster. If you don’t know what problem you’re solving, AI will happily help you ship the wrong thing.

@RoyInProgress Another proof of the common viewpoint I encounter. "Why do we need a (expert) when we have AI". The experts are the guides which ensure the right problem is solved.

Everyone laughs at the unemployed guy learning AI all day. No job, no meetings, no pressure. Just pure focus. 6 months later, he’s not the unemployed one anymore. He’s the one people ask, “How did you get so good so fast?”
