Help. I’m in a relationship with someone who has ADHD and I’m honestly so confused. He disappears when things get overwhelming, like just stops replying for days. Then comes back saying he “shut down.” Is this actually an ADHD thing or am I being ignored?

@jaredsuniverse Distribution is much harder in practice. 100x the competition with AI. Enterprises are rebuilding tools in-house. VPs and CSuites are bombarded from staff and external product pitches.

God I hate LinkedIn. Everytime I log in I feel a bit of my soul leave my body. Does anyone actually enjoy using it? It's everyone just faking it while crying behind their screens?

@yashhq_22 If you can get distribution, you litteraly do not need a VC for 80-90% of SaaS AI startups.

You don’t need funding to scale any more. AI agents + claude + distribution on X is the new seed round. That’s all you need to get you started.

Heard from a prominent VC a few weeks back: We invest in three types of founders: 1. They have a chip on their shoulder 2. They’re delusional 3. They’re autistic Never felt so bad for my funded homies.

I'm pro-entrepreneurship, and not afraid to say it. It's one of the few legal wealth creation tools available to people without a head start.

Working is exhausting in the post AI world. The promise of AI has been the exact opposite of what the labs are saying. Most people I know are working til 2, 3, 4am.

@credistick Woof. Sometimes I feel like we help founders do this when constructing their investor deck narratives. I always feel weird when they get funded.

The phenomenon of startups tailoring their ideas to VC expectations, becoming more “legible to capital”, was studied in this paper by Xiyue Li. The result is lower quality, less innovative companies.

Venture capital used to be about finding the hidden gems. Now it’s entirely about backing the sure thing. Lesson if you’re raising is that if you’re a hidden gem, start to behave like a sure thing. Else you will stay hidden.
