I have so many problems with this. 1. Soap is fine. That was only the case back when soap contained lye. 2. Scrub that thing with a chain mail scrubber (for stuck on burned food) and a regular scrubber with soap and hot water. It's fine. 3. Dry and heat to smoking hot. 4. Hit with a very thin layer HIGH TEMP oil...NOT olive oil! MCT, Lard, Tallow, flaxseed...EVOO is for eating, NOT seasoning. 5. Season the inside AND the outside of the pan. 6. Wipe the excess oil off with a clean towel. FOR EXTREMELY stubborn stuck burnt food heat the pan till ripping hot and throw a couple ice cubes in there and scrape with a metal spatula or a bench scraper. Then follow steps 1-6. OMG.
