NEWS: The NHTSA has announced that its has upgraded the probe into Tesla's FSD (Supervised) in low-visibility conditions to what’s known as an “engineering analysis.” It’s a step that is often required before the agency tells a company to issue a OTA recall, but does not automatically mean that the NHTSA will issue a OTA recall.
The NHTSA said its engineering analysis follows an earlier preliminary review and broadens the probe to about 3.2 million Tesla vehicles across multiple models equipped with the system, covering most vehicles on U.S. roads.

I genuinely love @Gfilche but it doesn’t mean I won’t be honest.
This makes you selfish not a Luddite.
Either you think you’re better than FSD .. which you aren’t or you don’t care about other ppls safety as much as you care about yourself.
And don’t give me this BS “I like to drive”. Most of your driving is not “fun driving”.
I genuinely look at ppl who don’t use FSD as low IQ ppl these days. I can understand ppl who don’t know about it or haven’t used it or can’t afford a Tesla. Everyone else… you’re showing your intelligence level.

💭 Cards on the table time.
Every time $TSLA stock is "down", the vibe on 𝕏 becomes very sour and people seem angry about everything, and they are quick to blame Elon for all of it.
Folks, perspective matters here.
We are SPOILED!
Tesla has done the impossible, time after time. Let it all sink in, and be grateful.
Our cars drive themselves.
We can charge everywhere.
The car software makes life SO easy.
The cars are super fun to drive.
Tesla solar is keeping lights on for thousands on people.
Tesla Energy is scaling like crazy.
New manufacturing methods pioneered by Tesla are now reaching scale, like 4680 batteries.
Optimus is coming.
Autonomy is scaling.
Robotaxi is real.
How many more miracles does Tesla need to do for us to stick with them through thick and thin?
I'm incredibly grateful to own my Model 3, with FSD.
We are so lucky.

I will get a ton of blowback for what I am about to say, but here goes.
I have let people use FSD on all of my Teslas since I first got it. Over all the years I have seen the same issue over and over again. When they are unfamiliar, they did not notice when it disengaged.
The sound of disengagement is not very loud and can easily be missed, when inexperienced.
I am not saying that Tesla was at fault, but it would be nice to have a default setting and clear voice and visual announcement, that FSD has been disengaged. Have said so in my live streams as well. Then there could be an advanced setting where you turn that "off" to basically what it is right now.
It can be missed for beginners, as some touch the wheel or tap the brakes, not knowing that they actually disengaged.
Again, I said what I said, but if you disagree, I ask you to let some none Tesla drivers drive your car.

UPDATE: Elon Musk says the driver of this Cybertruck disengaged Autopilot four seconds before crashing, which means the driver was manually driving during this entire clip that Fox shared. Elon: "As anyone knows who uses it, that video is not how Autopilot drives."
