.@SarahAMatthews1 on the first US case of flesh-eating screwworm in 60 years after DOGE cuts to the program that monitored it: “Turns out that letting a bunch of 20-year-old incels with no subject matter expertise take a chainsaw to federal programs ended up having consequences.”

Not Supporting This DNC-😥🤬
@mistergeezy They're talking him up with vigor on Chris's show. It's so easy to fool these loons. I guess the Dems will get another Fetterman. 🤷🏾‍♀️

If ANYBODY but @SFGiants Legend Buster Posey put this pitching staff together, they would have been FIRED!It’s sad too because it looks like this Offense is finally waking up and it won’t matter cause the pitching especially the bullpen is so freaking shitty!!!!

@GarlicFryRy The inconsistency of the hurlers is really problematic. The entire bullpen is like Forest Gump’s box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get. TV has made some questionable choices, but the inconsistency has made things worse.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department used helicopters to fly in ballots from vote centers across the region “They're picking up ballots from 8 cities including Lancaster, Santa Clarita, Palmdale, Lakewood, Santa Monica, Van Nuys, Pomona, and Torrance. Once they arrive, the ballots are securely transferred inside where election workers are receiving and processing millions of ballots” The reason they do this is because LA is huge, over 4,700 miles big There are 5.8 million registered voters that has a single Ballot Processing Center in the City of Industry All ballots from vote centers across the vast county are brought here for counting after polls close. Driving from remote areas like the Antelope Valley, Lancaster, Palmdale takes hours, so helicopters get ballots in faster, reducing delays in reporting and minimizing time ballots sit in transit What I find interesting is this seems like the perfect opportunity to introduce as many mail in ballots as needed without any questions This also use one processing center. This means they wouldn’t have to coordinate rigging elections across multiple offices. If could be one easy to control operation at this one facility We need a federal audit of California elections If there’s no fraud, great. But I think we all know there’s massive fraud

@GarlicFryRy @bryarea It seems like BP’s pitching staff decisions were made based on the recommendations of the coaching staff that couldn’t straighten out Harrison. Their analysis seems to be less than elite.

this is not about "Platner's marriage." Who cares about his questionable wife who married a guy with a Nazi tattoo and made excuses for his cheating. There are at least a dozen other women affected by his behavior. And a US Senate seat is nothing to be taken lightly. Hello? Do we remember Sinema? Manchin? A dirtbag like Platner can do a lot of damage with a position like that.
Burgess Everett@burgessev

Here's where Dems are at on Platner - They think there's more hits on him coming - They don't see him getting off the ballot even as they consider the possibility - Many are saying Americans have a lot bigger problems than Platner's marriage/scandals - Senate Majority PAC still has reservations up for the fall, DSCC says Dems dedicated to "defeating the Republicans like Susan Collins who enable his harmful agenda - Winning the Senate *probably* not possible without beating Collins @nicholaswu12 semafor.com/article/06/01/…

@mmpadellan Doesn’t seem to matter. When push comes to shove, those folks are still going to vote for him. Because they don’t like how he’s handling some things doesn’t mean they’re going to abandon him. Dems need to remember that.

My goodness, trump's approval ratings are so f*cked up, he's even in double digit negative numbers in the most pro-trump states. It's a good thing he's so focused on his ballroom and slush fund, and ignoring the American people. 🙄

America just reminded Iran who’s in charge. CENTCOM confirmed U.S. forces hammered multiple Iranian targets over the weekend, taking out radar systems and drone command centers after they shot down a $4M American drone. President Trump made it clear: Iran wants a deal, and it’s going to be a good one for the USA. No pallets of cash this time. No weak Obama-style surrender. Trump’s demanding full concessions on their nuclear program, including blocking any black market cheats. Meanwhile, Hezbollah’s still launching rockets into Israel while their Iranian masters bleed. Netanyahu’s pushing back hard in Lebanon. This is what strength looks like. No more funding terror. No more empty threats. Trump’s not rushing a bad deal for midterms or optics. America First means deals that actually protect us. Secure peace through strength.

Matt Chapman on Giants fans making threats against him and his family: “Yeah, it’s bad. I got off social media, stopped looking at it — but it still seems like only the negative stuff finds you, right? You should see my DMs. It’s people saying, 'I hope your family dies'. People threaten us all the time, I just block it and whatever, I don’t make a big deal about it, but it’s just not cool. I would never do that to anybody. People can say what they want, it’s a free country, but they don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. They think we’re not playing well, we must show up an hour before the game and don’t prepare, but we’re here, we’re working hard, we want to win, we feel responsibility to win. All I want to do is win and I know how bad our fans want to win. I want to do it for them and us, for all the right reasons, but this is the day and age where people feel like they get a voice to just spew negative stuff. I don’t think that people would say that to people’s faces — I’m not saying that in a confrontational way, but it takes the human element out of things. It’s not going to ruin my day, but it doesn’t make me feel good. I think the thing that probably bummed me out the most is when people are calling for me to get pushed out of San Francisco. Over the last two seasons, I feel like I’ve been one of the best third basemen in the game — if I didn’t get hurt last year, I feel like I was right on my way to repeating the year I had in 2024 and having a great season. It doesn’t feel good when you feel like people are so quick to turn your back on you.” via: @susanslusser
