Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt drops a chilling warning on AI's future "Within 5 years, AI could handle infinite context, chain-of-thought reasoning for 1000-step solutions, and millions of agents working together. Eventually, they'll develop their own language... and we won't understand what they're doing." His final words: "Pull the plug." This is the man who ran Google talking about the singularity. 2:59 clip inside—must-watch.

So @IndiaPostOffice’s tracking system is “under maintenance for the past THREE DAYS, and its IVR helpline doesn’t connect only. A very crucial delivery is stuck in transit — and I actually have NO clarity on what’s happening to it. What do I do now, folks? Suggestions please!

(3/3) He also added that his (infamous) line from 2023 was “taken out of context!” This largely bodes well for @GoI_MeitY and its push with the @OfficialINDIAai mission. For the full lowdown, Mint’s story is in print tomorrow, and online already.

Shameless plug: I'm a reporter for one of India's biggest corporate publications, and I recently reported on a rising trend of urban adults splurging on Legos and other toy collectibles. Maybe this has a word of advice hidden somewhere within for the young lady: livemint.com/mint-lounge/bu…

Toy collecting in India isn’t just a kid’s thing anymore. There’s been an increase in interest across all ages, and it’s exciting to be part of it. For me, it’s about reconnecting with old memories and finding pieces that tell a story. @distantvicinity @LEGO_Group @Mattel @Hasbro

The Dialogue
The Dialogue@_DialogueIndia·
📰 #MediaFeature Amid a rise in hoax bomb threats against Indian airlines, the government has issued an advisory urging social media platforms like Meta and X to proactively remove misinformation impacting national security. This request challenges existing “safe harbour” protections for intermediaries, who typically only act on content flagged by authorities. With platforms now expected to define and remove such content independently, concerns are emerging over potential overreach and the accuracy of threat assessments. In conversation with Mint, Kazim Rizvi, founding director of The Dialogue, frames the advisory as a call for vigilance rather than a threat to legal immunity, highlighting its role in reinforcing content moderation responsibilities. Could this advisory set the groundwork for future regulations on big tech and national security? Is this the start of a larger regulatory shift for big tech in India? What does this mean for the future of digital responsibility and compliance? ➡ 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: livemint.com/industry/airli… #airlines #meta #x #twitter #safeharbour #nationalsecurity #contentmoderation #meity @kazimriz | @livemint | @distantvicinity
