@slanderpiece Dog it feels like you’re using buzzwords and not really saying anything. Time limit and urgency applied to the manga but not the anime? The manga fight sophisticated but not the anime? The anime added extra tension to the fight. This made the experience even better

@explodingtv The reason I say butchered is cuz they missed what made this fight special and unique. This fight was sophisticated in the manga, it understood the time limit and urgency. The anime doesn’t and the “upscales” are only going to lead to more changes that affect the plot.

If you read the manga you’d realize the 3 way was butchered. In the anime yuta is switching opponents Willy nilly wasting his timer, goes 2v1 with Rika against uro and Ryu instead of splitting into 1v1 giving them time to setup big attacks like Uro’s ground quake. In the manga yuta doesn’t let up pursuit of Uro until Ryu interrupts for the 3 way domain. This fight lost all sophistication. The moment where yuta let’s go and beam clashes doesn’t even hit cuz all the calculation of his fighting is gone in the anime.

@SupremeDreams_1 Very fun episode but it should have been two. the direction was a little messy at times and had a choppy flow at certain scene to scene transitions. I don’t think it was the best episode even this season although I love my goat yuta

This episode deadass took me 50 minutes to finish due to me rewinding stuff the whole episode, I did not want it to end JUST GIVE IT A 10/10!

Okay. - it doesn't adequately explain how the safe pocket works - it doesn't explain the workshop upgrade system - it doesn't explain how hatch keys work - it doesn't explain that players OVERWHELMINGLY want you to be cooperative and will bitch you out in VOIP for shooting at them - it doesn't explain that joints on walking arc are weak points - it doesn't explain the differences in light, medium, and heavy ammo types - it doesn't adequately explain the difference between a minor event and a major map event (I know this to be true because I had to explain this shortly after release in a video to help people understand the ranking system). I could continue, but I think you get the point. Arc is a good game. I actually love that game. But lets not pretend that they just held your hand through every little thing and Marathon was suddenly this bastion of insurmountable lack of understanding that shied people away from bothering with it. People just don't want to get their ass kicked in PvP bro. It's not that deep.

Cryo Archive creates a journey, similar to Destiny raids. Vaults 1-2 teach you the basic mechanics of the map and help you get a feel for everything. Vaults 3-5 level up and really put you to the test. Vaults 6-7 combine everything you’ve learned and force you to be both fast and nearly perfect. All of this while navigating a map where other players are doing their own objectives, where at every step you could encounter another team ready to fight for their lives to protect their run, creates a level of adrenaline, fear, and reward I have never experienced in a video game. @yourtwodads @MathRockSucked Do you play fill? I recommend it to start just to complete some quests. Early game sucks but upgrading factions will help you feel like a powerhouse later on

@yourtwodads @MathRockSucked Lot of enemies drop ammo tbh. Go sponsored kit and start knifing some usec. Some locations spawn some health items more than others too. In armory, you can craft stuff over some of the purchasables

Marathon exposed how bad the Twitter hive mind truly is. I expected the game to be the biggest flop, and dead on arrival when seeing the reactions before playing. Meanwhile, it's all just forced narratives and people malding. Make your own opinions people.
