Can we all agree it's disgusting to walk into your home with outside shoes? That's the whole point of a foyer. The shoes go off in the foyer, your household shoes go on, clean house, peace of mind. If you don't have a foyer, the entryway is fine. The only reason to be against this is either laziness, because it's something new/different, or you feel anxiety asking guests to adhere to your rule structure. Do not fear. They must adhere. You are the master of your domain.

Wearing outside shoes inside the house. According to Dr.Gerba, Microbiologist, there's a 96% chance there's fecal matter on your sole and +400k units of bacteria.

Ok. Supercharging rates vary from about $0.25 to $0.50 depending on the state, today. And it’s tough to put a fixed cost on a moving target. As Tesla optimizes their production & install costs (both from new supercharger sites and from their vehicles), it’s not out of the question that they could pull this demand lever. Notice I never claimed they would do this soon. I said eventually. Meaning at least 3-5 years down the road, most likely. Who knows what the landscape will be like then.

Assuming a $0.40 avg kWh rate across 6.7 billion kWh (6.7TWh) delivered in 2025, that's $2.7B. Reduce cost a little due to margins, potential lower global kWh price average, and you get to $2B. But honestly that's probably way too conservative. If all Supercharging were free, usage would likely skyrocket, increasing Tesla's costs further. That could be offset somewhat by increased vehicle sales, additional milage to train FSD, etc, but the more the fleet would grow, the higher the cost of free Supercharging.

@jchybow If my rough math is right, that would cost Tesla $2 billion+ per year, a cost that would go up ~20% per year.

@jchybow @elonmusk He said it not me. You can ponder for magical free supercharging. I’m just asking for what he said he would do. In the grand scheme of things only one of those is deranged. 😘

@jchybow Free? I’d just settle for “superchargers will never be a profit center at tesla” which were the words out of @elonmusk’s mouth, yet today supercharging is one of the best profit centers in the company.

i don’t understand why the left is against voter id while simultaneously saying how it won’t make a difference because people aren’t illegally voting so then pass the law? if the results are the same and it makes no difference, it takes away the talking point

NEWS: NASA is planning a bigger @SpaceX Moon mission role using Starship, in a massive blow to Boeing. With the new proposal, Boeing's SLS would no longer be used to boost Orion close to the moon. Instead, Starship and Orion would dock in Earth orbit, giving Starship the pivotal role of propelling the capsule to the moon’s orbit, before taking astronauts down to the surface. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

If Autopilot and Full Self-Driving were truly flawless, there wouldn’t be Cybertrucks crashing because a driver failed to intervene, there wouldn’t be a critical error to begin with. Seems pretty clear to me.

Here's the Sentry Mode footage of 67-year old Karen Lewis vandalizing a Cybertruck with a board and nails. She then placed the board under the front tire, presumably hoping it would be driven over. She also placed an aluminum sign under another tire, because? She has since been arrested and charged with misdemeanor damage to property.
