@BootsUK tried to buy a product multiple times from website, each time was cancelled. No explanation, just cancelled. Tried to re-order and the advantage card offers I used have not be replaced. Called customer service who just kept repeating that it was policy. I'm fuming.

Today is the culmination of 13 years of work. I have installed the final piece of operational equipment in the bunker. The Smiths Astral 8 day clock was only issued to Master Posts and I have been after one for a very long time. The original screw holes on the wall lined up perfectly and I finally worked out what the little brass hook was for… its to hold the winding key! Below is a picture of the new clock on the wall and a period picture of another Master Post.
