General observation: A random ITC is better than a random Taj. ITC, even if not the absolute best, is at least predictable. Taj, unfortunately, has lost its charm. Apart from a handful of properties, many now feel like a burden on the brand. The same observation holds true for Taj Ganges Varanasi. A lacklustre experience overall. No proper welcome rituals, a dull check-in experience, and surprisingly small rooms. Even the suite feels cramped, and charging close to 35-40k for it simply does not make sense. In comparison, a random ITC in Bodh Gaya, at one-third the price, offered a far better experience. And as per me, they are now just another 3-star property with a lacklustre team. At that point, paying a premium simply does not make sense when better value exists elsewhere. Taj really needs to revisit its portfolio and take control before it gets too late.

Where @delhivery consistently fails is first mile. For a company that has invested so heavily in a tech stack and improved last mile experience by leaps - really doesn't understand the first mile. Day before yesterday they cancelled all first mile pickups due to a VIP visit to Dehradun. Ok, matter out of their control. Yesterday no pickup happened why? It's ok, we dropped the pending orders at our cost in their warehouse. Their lazy ass team didn't scan them for outward. Their morning shift calls us today and tells us to take back all orders as they won't proceed with scans. We have to pick them up now. Either rebook in another service or wait for their pickup to turn up. I hope your entire Dehradun office gets pale yellow diarrhea. You deserve it. Frankly, every time I have to interact with anyone from their office in Dehradun - I realise they are hopeless losers.
