Look, I know the tigers needed better help defensively in centerfield, and Outman is at least adequate out there, but he looks completely overmatched offensively. And I’m not talking about just against this pitcher. He’s not a major league player, not really that close actually.

Sounds like the move of the day will just be active Mize and IL Torres. Hopefully more to come. We need to DFA Jones. I’d be open to replacing his spot with: Malgeri, Anderson, Clark, Julks, or Jung.

@1kovacs IF Clark comes they'd DFA Outman which they aren't going to do. I'm not saying Outman is anything but a defensive CF, I'm just saying they are not DFA'ing him and that would need to be the move to promote Clark.

If I am the Tigers, I’m exploring trading Spencer Torkelson by the deadline. As someone who supported him often and even through last year, it’s hard for me to admit it now, but he needs a change of scenery. So do the Tigers.

@1kovacs Doubt Max is coming up soon, lot of holes in his game right now. Melton prolly can avoid the IL with back tightness and be in line to start next time out. They won’t DFA Jones, but no world Malgeri can’t be up right now

Drew Anderson is the poor man’s Michael King. And Jacob Waguspak is the poor man’s Drew Anderson. Our bullpen is poor, man.

Actually Madden would have to replace Melton or Torres technically Also would love a Lee for Malgeri swap. Rather see Max at 2b and not Lee…

About time to get a look at Max Anderson. Lee is ok but not our everyday guy if Gleyber Torres is out.
