@mersen @SpencerGuard @joerogan @ComicDaveSmith Joe Rogan said there were 1 billion Jews in the world. Just think about that. These people just talk about things they have no knowledge of but many find that hard to belive. They browse morons on X just like the rest of the herd and that’s the extent of their “knowledge”.

On a recent @joerogan episode, @ComicDaveSmith talked about misinformation on Iran, but ended up spreading several misleading and one-sided claims. As an Iranian, I fact-checked just 3 minutes of what he said and it was already disappointing. Here’s a breakdown 🧵

Most of them won’t fight for the state. They think they can live just as they do under Muslim rule so long as they don’t act against it or that they can run to the US/Canada/AUS. They are profoundly ignorant in the realm of history and geopolitics and many just don’t give a shit what happens to the state.

How many Haredi women work in high ROI sectors? Not all work is created the same. Thats the only thing saving you from the Muslims currently unless you want to use nuclear weapons in the near future. The USSR immigration brought military and tech dominance. What will the Haredim bring apart from numbers but they don’t even want to serve in the military?

NYC is just a wealth transfer machine from whites and east Asians to everyone else at this point. In that respect, maybe the clownish transplants asking for bike lanes and free daycare have a point. I just wish they’d express the truth of where their demands comes from instead of hiding behind “safety” and “affordability “. You see a lot of people not like you getting handouts in NYC and you realized it’s not going to change and you want a piece too. Fair enough. Just be honest about it. There’s no shame in it. Walk into any even decently well paying ($100K+) job in NYC and you barely find any non whites/East Asians. This is the truth and everyone who’s in that world knows it. Some will cry racism but it’s obviously not as corporates will trip over themselves to hire qualified non whites/East Asians and I don’t blame them. Virtually everyone who’s qualified is white and east Asian. Thats why corporates started looking for foreigners so that they could at least claim “diversity” by hiring Carlos from Chile who’s basically a Euro Spaniard or a Nigerian who has more in common with a Korean than he does with a black NYer. NYC welfare politicians just exploit this reality by promising government help as handouts to bridge the gap instead of dealing with the core issues within the communities and setting them on a path for long term success. They cater to the lowest common denominator within those communities because it’s an easy way to win elections and land cushy gigs for themselves. Virtually the only path to solid middle/upper middle class success for many non white/East Asian communities in NYC is a government job (with union construction for men and nursing for women in the private sector being the only other 2 viable avenues). Entire swaths of NYCs lucrative economy are neglected by these communities and our welfare politicians are only too happy to keep that going. Maybe it’s a nice arrangement? The whites/East Asians get a lot less competition and in turn they have to pay a cut to the other communities to stay out of their lucrative sectors.

People are calling this racist, but I also just think it’s wrong. Sailer is just clinging to tired Boomer copes. Zoning doesn’t stop immigration, it doesn’t even protect single-family suburbs from becoming slums—as he should very well know! Does he consider California a success?

@kevinf567 @atlanticesque It’s not just plausible. He’s correct. The distances and QOL between the shitty parts of CA and the utopias are literally like going from London to Cambridge. Many of these people never encounter the shitty parts for years on end.

He’s not wrong. Have you been to the nice places in CA where all of these people are secluded? If you have, then you’re not being honest and if you haven’t , you should take a look. I’m far from a leftists but CA isn’t like NYC where deca millionaires literally regular live a half Mile or less from housing projects. Many parts of CA are utopias even compared to NYC and even taking into account how shittily that state is run.

The U.S. and Israel are achieving in just a matter of weeks what it took Allies a couple years to do with their strategic bombing campaign against the Nazis in WW2. I'm also confident that the customers of the NY Times, Washington Post, CNN, etc. will not learn of this and other military achievements because it doesn't fit their narrative that we're losing our ineffective military operation against the Islamic regime of Iran. The media is actively misleading the American public. The media also bemoans the massive loss of trust in them as an essential institution in our society. They should take a long look in the mirror when they talk about the causes of the loss of this trust.

All three of Iran's largest steel plants were struck simultaneously last night. Mobarakeh. Esfahan. Khuzestan. 70% of Iran's steel output. Gone in one night. Iran built its steel industry specifically to survive sanctions. Israel hit the sanction hedge. - @MarioNawfal

@AdamMossoff So, trying to bomb people back to the Stone Age is a good thing? You want to beggar 90,000,000 people? Oh, I guess it's fewer than that -- you probably want to kill most of them.

@AsylumSeaker @AdamMossoff Life needs to get harder for the Iranian public until they must make a choice between dying under an American bomb or under an IRGC bullet. When it comes to that, they'll take their chances with the Americans.

We can all see this happening and we can see that it is degrading the capabilities of Iran. Problem is this does not seem like it will catalyse regime change, nor destroy their capability to close the strait, only harm the Iranian economy and make life harder for regular Iranians.

@marcjoffe @AdamMossoff Actually, it does equal victory but then politics takes over and we stop destroying and killing. It's always domestic politics. It's not the actual military situation on the ground. Our enemies have come to know this so they always try to exploit it.

Transplants from suburbia and low density cities want to transform NYC into their playground of suburbia and low density just with all the playthings (aka restaurants, bars, venues, etc.) NYC has. It’s literally an exercise of suburban transplants trying to suburbanize NYC while pretending they love “city life”. Nothing they do will work because the places they want to live in NYC are some of the densest and most transited neighborhoods. There are plenty of places in New York City that are very suburban like. These clowns would rather kill their own mother than live in them.

This absolute disingenuous lobbyist who owns a car, has made life difficult for low and middle income souls by removing thousands of parking spots low and middle income New Yorkers rely on to support their livelihoods. And now she plays ignorance.

Congestion pricing forces some people to take public transportation so that some people can drive marginally faster, all in service of feeding more money into the maw of a bloated, corrupt MTA that no one has will or interest or ability to reform. That this is celebrated as a major victory just reveals how sorry the state of technocratic progressivism is right now.
Amanda Litman@amandalitman

That congestion pricing is working -- like, really really working! -- is important for the larger effort to restore faith in govt. Take big swings, get big results that people can actually feel.

They told us traffic is down 10% which really means it’s down less than 5% as leftists always cook the books on stuff like this. So a 5% reduction in traffic is worth a transfer of $695 million from taxpayers to the government. This is a perfect encapsulation of leftist politics in blue cities/states. Leftists politics in blue cities has become a racket. They’re just a mafia organization skimming money off of the productive economy.
