This is openly heretical and proof that Progressivism is steadily hollowing out Christianity and repurposing the faith to suit its own ideological agenda.
Women cannot be priests. They were not created for this role. This is non-negotiable. Any church which promotes female pastors is no true Christian church at all, and the fact that this is now a controversial statement illustrates how late the hour is.

NOW - Dame Sarah Mullally is officially "enthroned" as the Archbishop of Canterbury, head of the Church of England, becoming the first woman to take the role in 1,400 years.

@GRespecter98067 Great! If only the Papists would have more humility when talking about Henry VIII

@AngloSouthern The first Pope literally abandoned and denied Jesus... we're tracking, bro

@MonsantoEnjoyer Just drawing attention to a historical fact.
English

@AngloSouthern What argument are you implying here besides a form of donatism?

@caesar_beaver In the Cross of Christ I glory, Lord of all being, throned afar, & Holy Spirit, Truth divine to name a few.

A salutary reminder of how close we perhaps came, and how far we now are— for manifold reasons, in both churches— to union.

60th anniversary today, I think, of Pope St Paul VI giving his episcopal ring to Michael Ramsey, Archbishop of Canterbury.

@ArmandusHellfi2 Read "retard right" as "self-destructive right" if you would prefer.
English

@AngloSouthern Using “retard right” which has been almost entirely used by the pro zionist or pro zionist appearing actors instantly kills this post’s reach to anyone leaning towards or on the anti-zionist side, which i would assume this post is meant for, unless its meant as cheerleading

@Squattocrat @HiawathaAvenged @CSandbatch I'm not sure how much I buy the WV secession thing. Its creation seems more of a result of a Federal invasion than a large popular movement IMO.
English

@AngloSouthern @HiawathaAvenged @CSandbatch The upper south only joined after Lincoln’s volunteer call. Even the you had West Virginia seceding. Henry Wise was the big guy pushing for it.

They're binned at the county level, so you're looking at households by location from which the "head of household" submitted their census docs. This dataset is *much* larger than the NOLA transactions one & it is just the tables on slavery w/o any names or real property desaignations, so really....say Wade Hampton's slaves on farms in the Mississippi Delta run by his son (not the head of household) go in the South Carolina line.
Just doing exploratory shots, but when I start mixing up dataset layers the graph gets complicated & like I said YOU ALL DON'T PAY ME ENOUGH.
(If you pay me enough I'll build SimPlantation, A Child's Interactive Guide to History)

@CSandbatch @avrilbradley23 Do those ratios change between states? It seems like Virginia had about the same percentage of planters and slaves as say Alabama but a lot fewer big planters.
English

@HiawathaAvenged @CSandbatch @Squattocrat Also many people in the South, especially in the upper South, were still very attached to the Union. Joining the Confederacy was not an easy choice for folks like Lee.
English

@HiawathaAvenged @CSandbatch @Squattocrat Virginia was more moderate politically (voted for Bell in 60) and its economy was becoming less reliant on slavery.
English

@ViaMediaVoice Nope, this is a feature of Anglo-Romanism in all its various shades.
English

@AngloSouthern The Pope is definitely not the Antichrist. The traditional Christian teaching on the matter has always been that the Antichrist will come from among the Jewish people. Reinterpreting Holy Scripture around the doctrinal disputes of one's day is generally foolish.
