The by far and above biggest issue we face today is NOT the economy, immigration, healthcare, abortion, etc... It IS the complacency of the American people.

The misunderstanding seems to be interpretive misconceptions of what a declaration of war is, and what it does. Military action is not limited to times of declared war. Never were. It is true that Congress alone has the power to declare a war. And that Congress has the authority to limit military actions through the war powers act. @TenthAmendment @dlbohin Declaring war is not the same as waging war. Vietnam was never declared. Iraq and Afghanistan were never declared. The last declared war in the US was WW2.

None of this is true. His entire term thus far has been terrible. He’s under water on every metric but especially on cost of living. Trump is doing that thing where if he says something enough times then he believes it to be true and hopes others will think it too except it’s not working this time. He has a -41 approval on cost of living and it’s only going to get worse. He’s at -60 with independents. He just keeps tripling down on stupid while living in his echo chamber with no one but MAGA diehards juicing his vanity.

@LevinInches I hate conversations based on speculation, it's unproductive. He isn’t wrong about Biden or Kamala but the argument is irrelevant. Saying, “it could be worse” isn't a solution. That mentality is what is allowing things to continue to decline. It's so stupid.
