The Ministry of Relief and Humanitarian Affairs in Northeastern Somalia has issued a complaint against the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Somalia, @GConway_UN accusing him of undermining development projects to be implemented in the Northeastern regions. @UNSomalia @uncsecgen @UN

This is a good example of people who want to divide countries. Secessionist movements are not needed in the world. @ChineseSomalia and Somalia will be close friends.

Somalia threatening to shut down Bab el-Mandeb? Let’s be serious.
The strait isn’t even under their control. It sits between Djibouti, Eritrea, and Yemen. If anything, Somaliland is geographically closer to that corridor than Mogadishu ever will be.
Now the real question… what coalition is Somalia relying on to enforce this fantasy?
The OIC? The Arab League? The same “coalitions” that specialize in statements of condemnation and absolutely nothing else? Hilarious.
No naval capacity. No control over the chokepoint. No internal strength. No international leverage.
To even attempt a blockade you need blue-water naval capability, air surveillance, missile systems, and control of both sides of the chokepoint. Somalia has none of that. Iran barely pulls it off through proxies, and even then gets countered by global coalitions.
And here’s what they ignore… Somaliland sits right near the route, controls key access through Berbera, and has its own coast guard. Any attempt to “block” anything runs straight into regional pushback, international naval response, and resistance.
This isn’t Iran’s playbook. Iran at least has tools. This is just noise without power.
Somaliland won’t allow it. And neither will the actors who actually keep that route open.

🇸🇴 Somalia just threatened to shut countries out of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. 12% of global maritime trade flows through that chokepoint. Every tanker, every cargo ship, every container heading between Asia and Europe passes through it. Israel recognized Somaliland as independent last year. Somalia's response: "interfere in our affairs and we'll cut off your access to one of the most critical shipping lanes on the planet." hahahahahah other countries now using Iran's playbook. Did the IRGC just open pandora's box? Source: Al Jazeera

A Saudi man married a Sudanese woman in Sudan and had a son with her. He then divorced her and took his son back to Saudi Arabia, telling him that his mother had died.
When the son grew up and was over thirty years old, the father confessed to him that his mother was alive.
That young man is Abdullah Khoujali, a player for the Saudi Al-Nassr football club. A satellite channel interviewed him after secretly bringing his mother from Sudan, surprising him with her presence. Watch the mother's first interview.

@BereketKahsai1 That’s delusion. One clan enclave could not re shape borders.

🇬🇧 Somaliland NOT Italian Somalia or 🇮🇹 #Eritrea could reshape the Middle East—with the world"s eyes fixed on the blocked Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway Bab el-Mandeb connecting the Gulf of Aden and the Suez Canal had been largely ignored.
Egypt🇪🇷 obsession with Israel🇪🇹?

@AxmedmSaid @AmbMohamedHagi Haha, if that's the case, you were under another clan for 15 years. And now, the clan you mentioned has taken Erigavo and is living there rent-free! 🤣🤣"
