For 28 years, if you were losing your hair, you had two choices. Minoxidil (a foam, works for about 1 in 3 men). Finasteride (a pill, works better but can cause sexual side effects). That's it. Nothing else since 1997. Two new drugs just arrived, and they work in completely different ways. This one (rezpegaldesleukin) is for people whose immune system attacks their own hair follicles. It retrains the immune system to stop. In the Phase 2b trial, patients grew back scalp hair, and half also regrew their eyebrows and eyelashes. @US_FDA gave it Fast Track. The other (clascoterone) is a cream for the common baldness men get with age. It blocks the hormone responsible, but only on your scalp. No pills. No effect on sexual function. Tested in 1,465 people across two Phase 3 trials: more than 5x the hair growth of placebo. 87 million Americans deal with one of these two conditions. After nearly three decades with nothing new, both showed up in the same year.

There are some great case studies from the deck, too This is after 36 weeks with Nektar's Il-2 receptor agonist, Rezpegaldesleukin, in a patient with alopecia areata

@Movies_analyst So the director was too lazy to use a green screen or time-lapse editing, so he just tortured an actor for 12 hours? Imagine calling yourself an artist when you’re just a manager who doesn't know how to use a computer

In Blue Spring (2001), an actor was required to stand in one position for 12 hours with his hands taped to a railing for a time lapse scene. The shot captured real time shifts in light with almost no breaks. What you see feels less like acting and more like endurance.

@Pirat_Nation Total nothing burger. If it’s covered in their TOS, they have every right to deny service to certain customers. Forcing a private company to serve everyone against their own terms is exactly how a communist regime operates.

The FTC Chairman sent warning letters to PayPal, Stripe, Visa, and Mastercard. They can no longer deny services to legal businesses, including anime and adult content creators. This follows Trump's order against unfair debanking.

The Japanese are less interested in money and politics than Americans. The way we hustle is uncouth to them. They aren't all working on their personal brands. They don't climb over each other like us. We should be more like the humble Japanese.

@MattT97571014 @X9_redux yeah, from not being a whine ass and blaming problems on everyone else. I am 36 and grew up extremely poor, I never completed high school and don't have a GED. I have zero sympathy for the people who take no responsibility for their failures.

wtf are you talking about? this is cope for your own failure, you want to blame it on something that you don't have control of to alleviate your guilt. i have multiple people at $25/hr that own homes and have work trucks and go on vacations. Move. no one has to live in the expensive areas.

I talked to a boomer customer yesterday who came into the office. He is looking after his grandson, who is 19. He said he just won't do anything. I, being 30, said to him, "Sit down and think about what he has to look forward to? He needs to make 100k plus to even START making a life. Typical boomer response of "when I was his age!" Meanwhile, this boomer is in a manager position five years past retirement age making 200k a year. Its baffling how unaware they are.

@RoyalistW It hurts to be alive when you get to that point, overwhelming anxiety, extremely high heart rate, physical pain either from mental state or actual, seems like it can never get better. This is for REAL depression and suicidal thoughts.

Let's keep it real. NAMFS President and CEO of First Rate Field Services Chad Rulo has spent far too much time profiteering. Labor needs fuel surcharges NOW and they ought to be passed through. We are tracking which firms work with him and forwarding Labor's concerns to them.

Free market always. In NY, we charge $1300/mo for an apartment that is $725 jn TN. NY has double the min wage, and many of your living expenses are double. When the government gets involved, it just creates localized inflation.
Jason Premo • Acclaim Aerospace@JasonPremoMFG

Hot take: minimum wage should be $0 Federally min wage laws should be repealed. State min wage laws nullified. The market and competition should set wages, not the government.

Tumors literally liquefied by sound waves — no scalpel, no chemo, no radiation. This is histotripsy: focused ultrasound waves that rapidly expand and collapse gases inside cancer cells, destroying them mechanically in minutes while leaving healthy tissue untouched. In the demo at one of the leading hospitals doing this procedure, doctors showed before-and-after liver tumor images — a large lesion basically gone four months later, with the liver healing naturally. It’s FDA-approved for liver tumors in the US (since 2023, now available in 18 states) and has early/limited access in the UK, UAE, and Hong Kong, with trials underway for kidney, pancreatic, prostate, and more organs. The procedure takes 1–3 hours; most patients go home the same day. Side effects are usually mild flu-like symptoms the next day as the body clears the debris. This isn’t sci-fi — it’s happening now and expanding globally as more units are built. What do you think — could non-invasive sound-wave tumor destruction become a game-changer, or is it still too early to get excited? Your thoughts 👇

My mom scolded me because I let my kids use their tablets after school to decompress. She said, “When I’m babysitting, I hide the tablets. Dinner is for family conversation.” My 9-year-old without missing a beat: “You don’t let anyone talk though… you talk over us. So what’s the point?” Me: 😂😂😂💀

The fastest-growing roofing company in Utah isn't winning on reviews. They're winning on pins. Over 20 Google Business Profiles spread from Salt Lake City down through Provo. Short-term commercial lease. Go through verification process with Google. Opt out lease. Each profile covers a 5-10 mile radius. Together they cover the entire state. One of their competitors drove to one of their addresses expecting to find an office. Nothing there. But the profile is live and ranking in that neighborhood's Map Pack. That's how the Map Pack actually works. It's proximity-based, not merit-based

David Sinclair said: "You can reverse aging by 75% in 6 weeks… by reinstalling the "software" of the body so that it's young again." This idea sprouted when he proved in his first experiment that you can accelerate aging in mice: "We took two mice born on the same day—same age, same genetics. We 'scratched the CD' of one mouse, corrupting its software and accelerating its aging. The result was dramatic. One looked far older than its brother." He believed if you can give aging, you can also take it away. Tomorrow, I'll share his experiment on how he reversed aging in mice (and then Monkeys). — @davidasinclair

I have multiple renovation crews and this is the type of stuff we do all the time and it is not cheap to paint homes, maybe single story homes with vinyl siding, you have to hand paint fascia or you'll get overspray on the roof, all windows have to be taped, doors, gutters, trim is often a different color and needs to be recaulked, soffit and fascia are often different colors from the siding, the window casing and frame are different than the window trim, the foundation is a different color, painting a house is extremely time consuming and intricate.
