Today has been a tough one, a day of bad news & heartbreak on repeat. The worst & most devastating of all, having to say goodbye to our 1st born cria, herd matriarch Oonagh. She was 19 & has been slowing down for a while, but the last few days have been a whole new level RIP 💔

Known as holloways, these routes developed over centuries of use, linking villages and farmland long before modern infrastructure. Many date back to the medieval period. Some likely follow routes far older. In parts of Dorset, Devon and Somerset, they cut deep into the earth, with banks rising several metres on either side. Not engineered. Not planned. Just used, for generations. Many are still in use today, following the same lines laid down over centuries of use.
