The people who carried this industry no longer subscribe to Solana and they haven’t for a while. $Asteroid failing on Solana has absolutely nothing to do with @jackduval and everything to do with a broken culture filled with 1st generation traders who would not have survived a bear market; had the casino not let them make their own games. Every time they run out of money, they deploy their own coin and take whatever meager dollars they can from their own kin. As pictured below, and via this quoted Tweet: We all keep hearing/seeing the phrases, “crime and cabal”. And evidently things on Solana have gotten so desperate that even @toly himself is leaning into KOL dealings of some sort. WhiteWhale’s tweet here, while no picture evidence, is a story I fully believe to be true as the environment around us is evidence enough. Solana’s main output of volume is completely bot driven, and mind you there’s not that many true lever pullers to these bots. While I don’t have any concrete evidence myself, it’s obvious to me that real people versus wallets actively trading is likely 1:10 and maybe even lower. I’m implying here for every 1 person truly buying a coin, there is 10 wallets acting for them, and worst of all, they’re probably playing golf as they just extracted you. $Asteroid being successful on ETH isn’t remotely surprising to anyone who hasn’t completely lost the plot in our industry. On SOL the real traders sold for a $500 profit because they’re down bad, and the bots extracted the remainder. It was always going to Burj. Successful traders have long left the trenches and shoot their targets from a very far distance with a lot of size. ETH has seen the success of many Elon coins, many dog coins, and here we have both with a narrative that goes well beyond just a forced cope narrative. Good traders simply threw a lot of money and know they can walk away without it going -80% because a KOL sold or the bundle shat. You can’t fix a culture at its core. You can only eradicate it.
