As talks between Iran and US begin in Pakistan it should be noted that… 1) neither party will be meeting physically together. They are in separate rooms 2) US claims they sailed a destroyer through the closed Strait of Hormuz, a clear provocation 3) The Trump admin keeps flowing assets into the Mideast, clearly preparing for another round of fighting and the Iranians are also bringing in new Chinese air defense systems. This ceasefire isn’t going to hold.

Two 2028 candidates lobbied against this DNC resolution condemning AIPAC. It failed. Anyone who wants to lead this party must condemn and reject AIPAC money. Unfortunately leaving NATO won’t be to avoid foreign entanglements, we’ll be leaving NATO so we can side with Israel when Turkey & Israel eventually clash in Syria. This is after we helped topple the secular Syrian gov & installed a former AQ/ISIS leader as president. Time to stop playing arsonist & fireman in the Middle East, it’s just not worth it.

Trump believes he is threatening Iran with destruction, but it is America that now stands in danger. If he attempts to eradicate Iranian civilization, the United States will no longer be viewed as a stabilizing force in the world, but as an agent of chaos—effectively ending our status as the world’s greatest superpower. This would upend our economy and shatter the global order.
