Playing multiple sports means more exposure to a varied and diverse set of movements. Through practice and repetition the athlete improves at these movements thus developing a better all around movement skill set(i.e. all around coordination, balance agility ..a better all around movement skill set then makes it easier to learn even more complex skills like those required at the higher levels of many sports...late sports specialization is best developed through early generalization... Doesn't matter if you were born a stud or want to be a stud, playing multiple sports makes you a better athlete. #Facts #LTAD

@MissOakleyTPPE VERY limited on space, topics are decided when the TTs are released and are based on the space available. 5 week rotation of topics, pupils experience up to 9 different sports per year. Yes it’s not as ‘deep’ for K&U but plenty of transferable skills across the topics to embed.

Interested to hear how you structure your PE lessons! How many weeks do you spend on each activity, how do you allocate space, how do you take into consideration wet weather, how do you plan across the key stages 👍🏼

BTEC Nationals Unit 2: Part A released today. 2x strike days and 1x bank holiday between now and Part B. Part B and Exam sat in 3 ‘school days’ time. Pearson 🤯

Teaching Unit 5 Application of Fitness Testing for the first time. My understanding is that i have to video my pupils administering 6 different fitness tests. Problem is ive 63 students. Anyone willing to share an example of the evidence you have gathered @ShareLearnT
