A female staff member who answered the agency phone refused to provide any status regarding when the delivery would be made. ​Sales Officer: I attempted to contact Mr. Awadh Bihari (Sales Officer) to escalate the matter, but he is deliberately not give proper answer. ​The complete lack of response from both the Agency Staff and the Sales Officer indicates a nexus of corruption and gross negligence aimed at harassing consumers. ​I request you to initiate strict action against the agency and the mentioned officials immediately. Please ensure my cylinder is delivered without further delay.

The Grievance: Unreasonable Delay ​I applied for a Current Account under the name of my firm, Indus Outsourcing Services (Account No: 348721010000243). Despite completing all formalities, the account remains inactive. Upon inquiring with the Sasaram Branch, I was informed that the file is pending verification at the Regional Office, Gaya. In an era of "Digital India" and "Ease of Doing Business," such a delay for a basic account activation is unacceptable and detrimental to my business operations. ​2. Misconduct and Arrogance of the Regional Head ​Given the stalemate, I obtained the contact details of the Regional Head, Mr. Manish Kumar Shrivastava, to seek a resolution. However, his response was shockingly unprofessional and unbecoming of a public servant. When approached, Mr. Shrivastava dismissively stated: ​"अब मेरा यही काम रह गया कि Current Account Active करवायेंगे... We are not sitting here for activating current accounts." ​This statement reflects a deep-seated arrogance and a complete disregard for customer service. As a Regional Head, he is responsible for the operational efficiency of the branches under his jurisdiction. Refusing to address a legitimate grievance by claiming the task is "beneath him" is a violation of the Bank’s Code of Conduct. ​3. Systematic Failure and Policy Loophole ​It is concerning that the Union Bank has centralized account verification at the Regional level without ensuring accountability or timelines. If the Regional Office holds the power to "verify," they must also hold the responsibility to "deliver." By sitting on files indefinitely, the Regional Head is creating a bottleneck that stifles local entrepreneurs. ​4. My Demands ​In light of the above, I formally request the following: ​Immediate Activation: The immediate activation of Current Account No. 348721010000243. ​Formal Enquiry: A departmental enquiry into the conduct of Mr. Manish Kumar Shrivastava. His arrogant demeanor toward a client suggests he may be unfit for a position that requires public interaction and leadership. ​Accountability: An explanation as to why a "digitized" process is taking over five days for a simple verification. ​I trust that the Zonal Office will take this matter seriously. I am prepared to escalate this complaint to the Banking Ombudsman and the Ministry of Finance (CPGRAMS) should this matter remain unresolved or should I face further harassment.

@airtelindia @Airtel_Presence @airtelnews I am compelled to lodge this serious complaint regarding the unprofessional conduct and unnecessary delay in carrying out the installation work of my Airtel Wi-Fi Extender, booked on 21-09-2025 against Fibre ID 0618412491069. On the very same day, your executive Mr. Abhishek called me around 11:30 AM, but I was not available at that location at that particular time. I clearly requested him to come in the evening slot, which he agreed to. However, since then, it has been two full days of false promises and excuses, and still, no installation has been carried out. This reflects extremely poor customer service and raises serious concerns about accountability and ethics within Airtel Fibre operations. It is highly disappointing that the Zonal Heads (Fibre Incharge) – Mr. Pintu and Mr. Vinod Jha appear to have no command or control over their subordinates. Moreover, it is evident that the field executives have not been given proper ethics and customer-oriented training, resulting in harassment and loss of time for the customers. Such negligence and repeated false assurances are unacceptable from a reputed brand like Airtel. I therefore demand: 1. Immediate installation of the Airtel Wi-Fi Extender without any further delay. 2. A written explanation as to why such negligence and false commitments were made. 3. Accountability to be fixed on the concerned executive(s) and zonal in-charge. 4. Assurance in writing that such instances will not recur in the future. If the matter is not resolved on priority, I will be constrained to escalate this complaint before the Consumer Grievance Authorities and TRAI for redressal. Kindly treat this matter with urgency and seriousness.
