@LIVGolfBuff I’m holding out hope that Liv continues in some way and Bryson is a part of it. I can’t see myself back watching the boring tour even if Bryson is playing; we’ll get to see a handful of his shots per tourney and I’d miss team effect.

I want Bryson to do whatever is best for him first and foremost. In 2027, I hope that option is playing on the PGA Tour and building his golf community as well as social brand on the side. That’s the best way, in my opinion, to move forward after the PIF funded LIV Golf dissolves
Flushing It@flushingitgolf

Despite Bryson DeChambeau’s definitive comments about being committed to making LIV Golf work, there is still a lot of speculation about him taking meetings, or wanting to leave the league before the end of the year. So I asked him directly about it: “It’s completely untrue. I’m working as hard as I can to find a solution. “I'm committed to making team golf work in the best way possible. I think there's a place for it in the ecosystem and I want to continue to grow the game across the world. That's always been our mission and it’s never been more true than now.” He went on to talk about a really cool initiative they are working on with junior golf: “We’re building a bunch of junior golf events right now and each team is looking to build junior golf academies. That’s something that we've been working on for almost three or four months now. “We're looking to host an event here coming up, probably in the next, I'd say, couple of months, because we want to do something special by the Team Championship. There's definitely some really cool things in the works.” Bryson now has the opportunity to do some really exciting things within the sport through his new holding company, ANU Golf. He’s already raised funding and acquired Sportsbox AI, and he clearly has big plans for the future. Rather than walking away from LIV Golf, I have a feeling he’s about to be more involved than he has ever been before. More extensive quotes in the quoted post below. @brysondech @Crushers_GC @livgolf_league

Hey @mcuban - I hear LIV golf could be acquired on a reasonable valuation with a global footprint stood up in 5 years. Keen to help out? 😀

@stackerco I really enjoyed it. I think it hits the topic more accurately than most others. My only critique is that it seems to kind of let the leaders off the hook in terms of their impact on the negative aspects of church culture.

This is one of the best faithful discussions on why people leave the LDS church I’ve seen. In my opinion, it’s accurate, compassionate, empathetic. And if the church was more like this, many would stay. youtu.be/kQ3jNw7K8xQ?si…

It’s been hard to get a good handle on the LIV situation with so many different accounts of what’s actually going on, but this to me feels like the best/most believable summary I’ve read that ties several loose threads together.
trey wingo@wingoz

Additional reporting after multiple conversations today with sources close to the situation: - This is not being characterized internally as a funding cutoff, but rather a transition. LIV Golf is funded through the end of the year and they were given two choices: You can shut it down now or you can ride it out through the end of the year and get outside funding. - The expectation is the league will complete the season. Any new capital is unlikely to come from Saudi Arabia’s investment arm, which has shifted priorities. - The current geopolitical environment is being used as a legal mechanism to unwind certain PIF-backed commitments — and this is not isolated to LIV Golf. - Under CEO Scott O’Neil, LIV Golf’s commercial business has shown significant signs of improvement, including the addition of new flagship sponsors. That creates a potential path to outside investment, though sources describe the process as complex. - There was a recent board-level meeting aimed at getting ahead of these developments before the news became public. Sources indicate some internal frustration with how the situation has been handled and the timing of the information becoming public. - Multiple sources also indicate that players and agents were not fully aware of the situation as it developed, setting off a scramble.

Gonna post something vulnerable. I’ll probably regret it. But, hoping that some people might feel like they’re not alone in their feelings is more important. I do not look forward to general conference. It usually makes me feel badly about myself. The last 5 years, my testimony has dwindled more and more. I’ve done all the things I’ve been told would fix that, and none of them do. I’m at peace with it. I feel very good about how I feel. I feel at peace. I still go and attend, because it means the world to my wife, and she means the world to me. I live all the principles and commandments of the church and enjoy doing so. I still have, and always will have a recommend. Conference is hard though, because I hear over and over a message of “do this and this, and the answers will come”. I’ve done, and still do all those things, and the answers don’t come. It’s not peaceful for me. It makes me feel like something is wrong with me. A few years ago, it took me to a very dark place. Very dark. I don’t want to ever go back there. This time of year kind of takes me back there. I’m sharing this because I know I’m not the only one. Also, I share this in hopes that people can be a little more aware that some people struggle. I don’t want a different life. There are many principles about the church that I love. But, I’m just to the point that I hope all of us find what makes us happy, and then we love that thing.

You know, the propagandists could just ignore what I say. But they can’t. Because they know it’s true and they can’t help but defend the establishment bc that’s what paid propagandists are literally paid to do. So obvious. 😂

Let’s ACTUALLY be honest: this entire post is not only the worst of social media… it’s also easily refuted by facts. The @PGATOUR had an incredible 2025 with Scheffler dominating,Rory’s Grand Slam etc… and 2026 is off to a great start as well. This isn’t just a bad take… it’s also horrible information. Have a great day

I feel a lot of frustration towards Tiger Woods & the decisions he continues to make & I think he deserves to be punished for putting people in danger. I also feel a lot of empathy towards the man & hope he gets help in getting better through a low point.
