@DBG_Bishop Yeah I consider 2d art 90% solved for majority of use cases. Just needs the right tooling setup to wrangle the AI

@MagcPixel I've used it for making custom tools and scripts, it's great for that stuff.
But I have a hard time getting usable art out of it. I could imagine that being different for 2D/Pixel art games.

I think this is probably accurate. If you've worked on a computer in the last year you probably goofed with it.
But I've had an extremely hard time figuring out where it fits in a typical pipeline.
The few times I've tried, it was repulsive. And I mean that literally.

Just woke up and this is the stupidest shit ever. I hate the generic use cases of generative AI such as making slop art or just generating code to vibe code without understanding, but using AI to learn concepts is NOT the same. Hate seeing a dev getting hate for this.

@AXECOP I would spend insane amounts of times making assets, it felt like a factory job at times. Now I'm using AI to make game assets in seconds.... I still curate / recolor / refine / etc. but it takes the grind out of the work 100%.
