Unkarin Orban lähetti sotilaat valvomaan energiakohteita maassa täysin tekaistun väitteen varjolla (Ukrainan sabotaasiuhasta). Päätös tuli sen jälkeen kun opposition Tisza johti gallupissa Fideszia 55%-35%. On vakava riski että Orban yrittää kaapata vaalit, mahd Venäjän tuella.

@alexstubb Kun Venäjä epäonnistui sotilaallisesti, se ryhtyi käymään hävityssotaa Ukrainan siviiliväestöä vastaan. Tosi halveksittavaa!

Vierailin Kiovassa sodan vuosipäivänä yhdessä eurooppalaisten johtajien kanssa. Venäjä hyökkäsi Ukrainaan neljä vuotta sitten. Alun perin sodan piti kestää neljä päivää. Ukrainalaiset ovat taistelleet neljän vuoden ajan itsenäisyydestään. Tällä hetkellä he taistelevat koko Euroopan puolesta. Tuemme Ukrainaa, niin kauan kuin tarvitaan. Slava Ukraini.

Laskin Kiovan Maidanilla kynttilän sodassa kaatuneiden ukrainalaisten sotilaiden muistolle, yhdessä vuosipäivään osallistuneiden muiden päämiesten kanssa. Sota on kestänyt neljä vuotta. Suomen tuki Ukrainalle jatkuu vahvana. Venäjän on lopetettava julma, järjetön ja laiton hyökkäyssotansa.

Ukraina on taistellut maansa, kansansa ja koko Euroopan turvallisuuden puolesta jo neljän vuoden ajan. Suomen ja Euroopan on annettava ukrainalaisille parhaat mahdolliset edellytykset puolustaa itseään jatkossakin. Teemme lujasti töitä, jotta Ukraina saa oikeudenmukaisen ja kestävän rauhan.

If Hungarians re-elect Orbán in April, Europe should draw the consequences and consider that Hungary has chosen Moscow’s orbit. This would imply its exit from the EU, from Schengen, from the single market, and the end of all cooperation.

Every day, recovery continues in our cities and communities after Russian strikes. This week of February alone, they launched about 1,300 attack drones, more than 1,200 guided aerial bombs, and 50 missiles against Ukraine – almost all of them ballistic. Today, the Odesa, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Sumy regions came under enemy attack. As before, the main target of these attacks is the energy sector. The Russians deliberately combine strikes to destroy our generation facilities, substations, and grid. Many strikes also hit residential infrastructure. Our warriors intercept a significant portion of the missiles, but unfortunately not all of them. That is why there can be no pauses in protecting lives. In Munich, we agreed with the leaders of the Berlin Format on specific packages of energy and military aid for Ukraine by February 24. I am grateful to our partners for their readiness to help, and we count on all deliveries arriving promptly. Ukraine needs air defense every day to deprive Russia of leverage through terror. The Kremlin bears full responsibility. The murder of political opponents is part of the regime’s DNA. It is not a display of strength, but an admission of fear. The EU has sanctioned those responsible for Navalny’s poisoning, arbitrary arrest and sham sentencing. We will continue to use our Russia human rights sanctions regime to ensure accountability for repression.
