Daycare? $2,000/month. Now he's -$1,180 every month. $140K/year is survival, bro. how about you setup a store

You will be consumed by and be a product of this pain for the rest of your life unless you give it all to Jesus Christ. Once you have every one of your own (many) sins washed away as if theyve never happened and you receive new life in him, only then can you begin to see and react to other human beings differently. Then you can begin to see your wife a person who, in a dark season of her life, made horrible painful choices that were simply a product of her not knowing who she was in Christ. And you begin to hurt for her and you begin to love her the way youve been loved- without condition. The reward of this journey is a fully unlocked version of yourself and potentially your wife and kids. So worth it. Also…Did I mention it is the only way?

My wife cheated on me after 10 years of marriage. She had an affair with her gym trainer, and it lasted a year. She cried and begged for forgiveness. I stayed for our two young kids. I'm 27 and just hit my first $100k in my taxable brokerage account today. This brings my total investments, including my Roth retirement accounts, to $213k. I made $80k last year, and will make $85k this year (a good but not crazy salary) and have invested at least 25% of my income the past few years while supporting my wife, who's a stay at home mom, and our two kids (soon to be three). I've had a couple lucky breaks on some investments that helped put me ahead, but most of this wealth comes from simply buying and holding "boring" index and factor funds. Nothing fancy, just a simple formula that works: budget and live on less than you make, invest as much as you can, and ignore the noise.

$IREN A lot of people panicked over the $6 billion ATM and sold. When $NBIS hit all-time highs, I was genuinely happy. Companies executing well in the same sector validates the demand backdrop. I even said in my group chat that NBIS hitting new highs was something to celebrate. You don't have to pick one and ignore the other. A lot of IREN investors hold both. That said, I'm clear-eyed about the bet I'm making. IREN is the higher-risk path. I could easily split exposure between IREN, NBIS, and CRWV to smooth out the ride. But I'm not interested. I'm taking the concentrated position because I believe IREN outperforms all of them over time. The problem is most people can't sit through that kind of setup. When NBIS was making new highs and IREN was still in the red, the hate on X was relentless. That's the tax you pay for conviction. If you want to win in volatile, emerging sectors, you have to block out the noise, understand exactly what you own and why, and stay calm when the market isn't validating you in the short-term.

I've watched this play out at least 10 times. Guy is the life of the party at the club. Drinks every night with the boys. Bar food. No training. "I play golf, that's enough." He gets to 55. And either dies suddenly, or gets sick and dies slowly. The buddy group is devastated. They swear it off. They're going to do things differently. Honor his memory. A week later, they've forgotten him completely. Back to the same drinks. Same food. Same excuses. And the cycle is already starting with the next guy. I got tired of watching it. I'm a competitive golfer preparing for the Senior Tour. I'm also a man who had to make some hard decisions about how I wanted to live — what I put in my body, what I was chasing, what I wanted the back nine of my life to actually look like. It cost me something to change. It was worth every bit of it. This account is for the golfer who is done with the default. The one who wants to actually finish the race. Not just play it.
