Felt I owed some kind of explanation to friends and fans of my books regarding why I’ve gone absent for so many months.
In a word—cancer.
After 8 weeks of chemo and radiation and many more of healing, by God’s grace, I may have beat it.
I’m at last back to work with my Army sniper tribe and as of today, returned to writing; with several projects in varying stages of completion or commencing.
My wife has truly been incredible, and God has already restored me greatly.
What remains to my restoration, my brothers are providing by pulling me with them across the finish line.
I’m very grateful and glad to say there will be more to come.

My wife watches Murder, She Wrote a lot. She loves murder mystery shows.
You know what stands out to me? Almost everyone in this show has hideously ugly clothes most of the time. I know the late 80s/early 90s was kind of a low point in fashion trends but holy shit.
Big, flowy clothes! Shoulder pads! Jackets that hang like drapes! Beige, so much beige!
