@TheWildUte So in other words Utah’s “brand” was playing against Oregon and USC and, without that, they’re mediocre. BYU’s brand, playing the same teams as Utah, seems to be doing just fine.
Calling it now.
Roger Saleapaga will be BYU’s most critical pickup.
Legend Glasker will be BYU’s FOY.
LJ Martin will repeat as Big12 OPY.
Nusi Taumoepeau will be the biggest pass rush threat.
And this team will entertain the masses.
It was a great Spring Ball.
Imagine having the power to stop the torture, destroy those doing it & condemn them.
But choosing to allow it, love them & forgive.
Christ gave us a chance to be saved while committing our own sin.
Easter isn’t about bunnies.
It’s about the resurrection of our living Christ.
BYU fans,
Which position group are we most worried about this year?
For me, it's either WR or safety. I think we have talent, but there are big shoes to fill from last year in those positions.
@UteOutsider The biggest difference to me is that BYU has a staff of guys who have run the same defense under Jay (and a bunch of them already had coordinator experience anyway). Continuity matters.
Since Beck wasn't there long, they are closer to starting from scratch with a new system.
Maybe I’m biased but I feel a lot more comfortable replacing Jason Beck than I would feel replacing Jay Hill as a BYU fan.
And again, maybe I’m biased, but I think Jay Hill saved Kalani’s job.
Interested to see who of the two teams comes out in better shape.
Breaking news: Utah State coach Jerrod Calhoun has agreed to be the next coach at Cincinnati and will return to his alma mater, sources told @CBSSports. Calhoun, 44, just took USU to back-to-back NCAA Tournaments. He'd been Cincy's top target for weeks. cbssports.com/college-basket…
