Air Force Station Pune commemorated the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor with a Victory Run on 09 May 26. The Run was flagged off at 0830 hours by Air Cmde Satbir Singh Rai, AOC, from Station Sports Ground. A total of 750 Air Warriors took part, showcasing the ethos of unity, discipline and operational excellence that defines the IAF. AOC commended AFS Pune’s pivotal role during Op Sindoor and exhorted all personnel to uphold the highest traditions of service, maintain combat readiness & meet future challenges with resolve. In response to a request from civil administration late in the evening of 09 May 26 for a major fire incident at Nachna Market, Air Force Station Jaisalmer promptly responded by sending a firefighting team. Despite night conditions & unfamiliar location, the team reached Nachna and undertook meticulous firefighting operations tirelessly in coordination with the civil administration till midnight bringing the devastating fire under control. *Air Marshal Tejinder Singh, PVSM, AVSM, VM, AOC-in-C, SWAC* visited *13 GRENADIERS (GJ)* which is proudly known as *Ganga Jaisalmer Risala*. He had been deployed with the unit at Siachen Glacier in 1989 as part of Op Meghdoot. He interacted with all ranks as well as some veterans who were deployed with him. General Anil Chauhan #CDS released doctrines on Joint Primer on Manned and Unmanned Teaming (#MUM-T), Military Cyber Space Policy, Bilingual Joint Staff Services Duty pamphlet during the Joint Commanders' Conference #JCC2026 at Jaipur. Addressing the military commanders, the CDS emphasised that this primer is not merely procedural updates but represent a fundamental shift in India's warfighting philosophy. The MUM-T primer codifies the integration of human cognition with autonomous precision providing the framework for sovereign #Al-driven systems to operate alongside manned platforms, significantly enhancing combat effectiveness while reducing risk to personnel. A delegation of the 8th Central Pay Commission, headed by Shri Pankaj Jain, IAS, Member Secretary, visited Air Force Station Pune on 03 May 2026.
