The United States military is basically blackmailing Anthropic into letting the military use Anthropic to kill targets without human involvement and spy on hundreds of millions of people. The Pentagon has given Anthropic until 5PM tomorrow to give in to their demands or they'll take away government contracts and possibly force Anthropic to remove all safeguards on their product. It should be the #1 story in the world right now. Make no mistake about it they want to use AI to terminate dissidents. Not Internationally. Here, on US soil.
