FEDEX DRIVER ARRESTED FOR STEALING WALMART SHIPMENTS 🏐 Wilson would not approve “Just the Facts Ma'am”: 🔹 Walmart Asset Protection notices packages missing from a specific driver. 🔹 Trackers are placed in multiple packages scheduled for delivery. 🔹 Driver delivers some boxes but keeps others, including one found in a dumpster. 🔹 Driver marks a final tracked package as “delivered” while it’s still on his truck. 🔹 Officers stop the driver and find the stolen merchandise and a loaded handgun. 🔹 Suspect goes to jail. The rest of the story: On March 18, 2026, Tulsa Police were contacted by Walmart regarding a series of thefts involving high-end electronics. Walmart staff had noticed an increase in missing packages, specifically coming from one FedEx delivery truck and driver. Walmart Asset Protection placed tracking devices inside four packages. On March 18, three of these boxes were scheduled for delivery to the Walmart at 207 S. Memorial Drive. The driver, 31-year-old Austin Reichel, delivered two of the boxes but kept the third. Surveillance footage later captured Reichel throwing that third package into a dumpster at 1828 N. 105 East Ave, along with internal packaging from the boxes he had “delivered” earlier that day. On March 19, another tracked package was placed on Reichel's truck. Although he marked the package as delivered, he never actually dropped it off. Tulsa Police Officers initiated a traffic stop on Reichel shortly after he left the Memorial Avenue location. Officers located the missing package, containing AirPods and cell phones, still in the back of the truck. In total, the estimated loss from the stolen electronics is approximately $17,330.33. Upon his arrest, Reichel informed Officers he had a loaded handgun in his backpack, which was located inside the truck. Reichel was booked into the Tulsa County Jail for: 🔹 Larceny from a Retailer (over $15,000) 🔹 Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony These are arrests, not convictions.

Excited to announce the arrival of our new chase vehicle. It’s a 2019 Chevy Tahoe and will carry us through the 2026 season and beyond. As my career progresses, I find myself constantly wanting more cabin room out on the road, and I’ve had my eyes on Tahoes for quite some time now. This Tahoe was just retired from Michigan State Police and I absolutely LOVE the blue on black. It’s also cool that I get to take a retired MSP cruiser across the country and showcase my home state squad in all her glory. Not to worry, I’m still very much partial to the Ford Explorer/Interceptor platform that I’ve been rocking for over 5 years and that so many of you have also become connected with on our channels. I will be keeping my current 2018 as a backup and will likely have many more in the future, It was just time for a much needed upgrade! Lastly, I want to thank each and every one of you for making upgrades like this a reality. Something as simple as smashing the like button on every post helps more than you know. What you all have done for Team Zero means the world to me. Six years ago I could barely afford a 2015 Explorer, so it’s truly an honor to see just how much we’ve grown in such a short amount of time. Let’s dominate 2026!

FIRST 48 LEAVES TULSA After more than a decade, The First 48 is shutting down production in Tulsa. Our connection with this program spans over 137 broadcast episodes. Each episode carefully balances sharing the victim’s story and the efforts to bring their killer to justice. Over the years, our Homicide unit became used to always having a camera ninja following them around, recording every scene, interview, phone call, and arrest. There is no other medium in our department that could capture the gravity of the cases as effectively, especially with producers reaching out to the families for testimonials about their tragic loss. There is no doubt that The First 48 contributed to our exceptionally high closure rate. It was through this program that many people saw the compassion our Officers have as they seek justice for victims. This exposure helped break down barriers between the community and our Officers in solving these complex cases. After many years of working together, all Tulsans know more about their police department than they would without it. Our homicide solve rate is the highest in the county, and that isn’t going to change. We will strive to keep on this path, continue working with the community, and keep fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves.
