I have the best kids. My mom wanted to go home to NC to take care of some things related to Dad's passing and both of my kids in college offered to come with--during finals week. One was able to make it work. Just really grateful.

Six years ago, after a year of RCIA, my husband got an email from the priest of our parish that his and our sons' Easter baptisms and entry into the Church were canceled until further notice because of a virus. We heard nothing else about it for almost a year. In the meantime we had found a traditional priest who assisted us. Yet, the parish who canceled it all due to fear acted shocked and appalled that we sought help elsewhere. Perhaps this revealed to us the path forward in faith. Closing churches due to fear of a virus shows worldliness and a lack of faith in the promises of Christ and the eternal life of the soul.

This morning's study was Exodus 31. If there was ever a good time for that study, it was now, during tax season. Helped with perspective. Anyway, just a few more days and I will be through Exodus and Leviticus. (I've fallen behind the last few weeks, but I'm getting there!)
