I’ve seen this movie so many times that I can guarantee It will go like this:-
The president will be shocked and there will be another commission of enquiry with committees and sub-committees totaling more than the actual money stolen. These senior police officers and generals will immediately be put on indefinite leave with full pay and benefits. The final report will eventually end up in the bin next to the Zondo report. No one will be prosecuted or go to jail.

EXCLUSIVE Several senior police officers, including Generals, have been arrested in Pretoria on corruption related charges. It is linked to the Medicare Tshwane District contract. Sources say the arrested cops were part of the bid committee. We also believe that a former senior employee of Vusi “Cat” Matlala is behind bars. They are being detained at a police station in the capital. All those arrested will appear in court tomorrow. @pule_jones

🚨SHOCKING: This was the moment when a 14-year-old boy fatally sh*ots 32-year-old Jeremy Brown at this restaurant on Chicago's South Side.
Brown can be seen punching the boy's mother, Carlisha Hood.
When bystanders did not intervene, the boy took his mothers firearm and sh*t.
Prosecutors initially charged both mother and son with first-degree m*rder but dropped the charges shortly after reviewing evidence and footage.

Afriforum just won a Supreme Court of Appeal case against Eskom, to legally force Eskom to share & arguably publicize certain contracts.
These contracts pertain to the purchase, transportation & distribution of coal & diesel. As well as supplying electricity to neighbouring countries.

AfriForum has secured a decisive victory over Eskom that will finally provide much-needed transparency regarding the state power utility’s coal/diesel contracts. The Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein rejected Eskom’s attempt to overturn a 2024 court ruling, with costs. All active Eskom contracts relating to the purchase, transport and distribution of coal and diesel, and the utility’s contracts for the supply of electricity to neighbouring countries, must now be made available to AfriForum. Major win for South Africa and government transparency.

And there is no point having decent education if there are no jobs.
Solve those three and there will be more money for education and better education. Positive feedback loop.

South Africa should be focusing on three basic issues. Nothing more.
Crime needs to stop. We need accountable, localised police forces focusing on intelligence and investigator capacity.
Infrastructure needs to be fixed. Privatisation must be embraced where possible to ensure efficiency.
And jobs. With jobs, we solve our fiscal crisis, reduce poverty, generate wealth. Everything. And to get jobs, we need to cut red tape, and allow employers to hire and fire with minimal fuss.
