Incredible! Who is to blame for law and order problems in Bengal today? Apparently, it is Khudiram Bose and revolutionary spirit of Bengali freedom fighters against British rule! This is the level of argument from liberals like Mahua Moitra And look at the journalist acting as if she is making a serious point...

CM Mamata Banerjee says gas produced in Haldia should not go to other states. But look at how West Bengal actually gets its LPG: •Paradip (Odisha): 40–50%+ •Imports via Haldia port: 30–40% •Haldia refinery: ~5–7% •Others (Bihar/Assam): 5–10% Haldia produces only 5–7% of Bengal’s total requirement. Now imagine if states like Odisha or Assam start taking the same stand. How many days would Bengal be able to sustain itself? This kind of divisive politics should not be tolerated.

A very close cousin whom i have known to be a life long liberal-secular told me recently that he is getting wary of the rapid islamisation of Kolkata. He said there's no other angle in West Bengal politics except religion and "when it comes down to that being the sole deciding factor, why will i not vote for those who claim to care about my religion?"

Is the @ECISVEEP really expecting a violence-free election in West Bengal? Ground reality at Basanti, South 24 Parganas tells a different story — @BJP4Bengal workers are being mercilessly attacked by @MamataOfficial Didi’s “lungi bahini”. If the @CEOWestBengal cannot ensure safety of voters and protect democratic rights from such elements, then the nation deserves answers.

Last night, I was sleeping on a small sofa in my mother’s room at the hospital, and like any son, I was extremely worried about her health. The whole night, I was comforted by only one thing. I was comforted by a nurse from Keralam who came in every hour to check on my mother. Every single hour, she would come and check on her. She would smile, and she would hold her hand. I found myself thinking about how many sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters have been comforted in their most difficult moments by nurses from Keralam. Early in the morning, I asked her, “Do you sleep at night, or do you work the whole night?” And she said, “I work all night.” So, while the whole world sleeps, women from Keralam, not only in Keralam but also in Delhi, across the country, and around the world, are comforting people, holding their hands, and making them feel at ease. For me, this is the spirit of the state of Keralam. : LoP Shri @RahulGandhi
