Trent Williams has a 10M option due tomorrow (would add 2.5M to the cap for the next four seasons). These seem to be the three likeliest scenarios for a resolution between the 49ers and Williams: 1)Team could agree to a new reworked contract with Williams today 2)Team and Williams could agree to push the option bonus back to another day which would allow more time to negotiate 3)Team could do nothing and allow the bonus to trigger. Would signal they plan on him being with the team in 2026.
