Our liberal constitution legally guarantees our human rights. But culturally, many citizens do not accept the behaviour or actions that are protected. Hence a high rate of violence against LGBTQ+ people in many townships notwithstanding the law. And a high rate of unsafe (backstreet) abortions despite abortion being legal.

You didn't speak up against this insanity going on in your country by your fellow country man.
