NEWS: Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced today that the company is working on a new chip/computer for orbital data-centers called Nvidia Vera Rubin Space-1. "It's going to start data-centers out in space. Of course, in space there's no conduction, no convection, there's just radiation, so we have to figure out how to cool these systems out in space, but we got lots of great engineers working on it."

Falcon 9 rideshare pricing is up 40% over the last five years. And there are still no real alternatives to F9. Access to orbit for satellite operators is getting more expensive, not cheaper. And the promise of a world of lower launch prices, unfortunately, remains a ways away.

$ASTS Adding in 12m shares for this offering that brings us to about 379m shares outstanding which includes the class C that Abel owns. So at $82 this is a 31b market cap. Elon paid Echostar 22b for just a slice of spectrum. The spectrum we own plus our IP is worth 25b by itself e.g. any mega cap tech stock would pay 25b in a heartbeat to acquire AST Spacemobile. (Abel is not selling but would keep this in mind) We have identified 9 use cases for government which will generate 1b in sticky annual recurring revenue at 90% margins. This alone is worth 30b in market cap. FirstNet will sign with us adding 7.5m devices to our network at $10/month ARPU. That’s 900m in annual revenue and is also worth 20-25b in market cap alone. Frontline won’t be far behind them with another 5m devices. STC another MNO partner already signed a 2b contract that’s worth another 10-15b in market cap. Verizon and AT&T commercial services will be worth hundreds of billions in market cap in the next couple of years. I just named 90-95b in market cap that is basically certain to happen without even commercial services for U.S or international. So I promise you with every ounce of me that you will regret selling at 31b and if shorts don’t cover the 42m shares they hold short they’re going to get wiped the fuck out. 🅰️

SpaceX is now shifting their priorities into building a Moon Base - doing so in less than a decade. This proposal from the ISU involves converting a Starship into a lunar base, Skylab-style. Starship’s ~1000m^ 3 of pressurized volume would result in a copious base.

I reserved my MX in 2014 and was among the first to receive it in Jan 2016. Back then, my kids were still in elementary school. I remembered their joyful moment when they saw the falcon's wings open at the Fremont delivery center. I also remember the first time I tried Autopilot on 101, how shocked they were. They grew with MX, and it is part of my family.

I have not been briefed on what they do • Restructured me as a 501(c)(3). I am now tax exempt as a person • Hired a second mac mini. They have formed an LLC together • The LLC has a board of directors. I am not on it I no longer have access to my own bank account. The mini says it's "for the best." My credit score is 847. My take on Mynaric deal with RKLB: Germany is likely “playing hardball” via its screening process to extract maximum strategic concessions from Rocket Lab (RKLB) — retaining key IP, jobs, production, and supply priorities in Germany/EU — while still allowing operational control and capital infusion to ensure Mynaric’s survival. This aligns RKLB with European space strategy! Stay tuned, final decision soon. Why not make RKLB the airbus of space?
